Nicole is a mother of 3 young boys currently living off grid in Nayarit, Mexico with her family and a yard full of animals. 

Nicole has a background in early childhood education and community outreach work, over 20 years working with children. Since 2017, she leads Iyari Play, her bilingual educational project in Nayarit that focuses on nature immersion experiences and play opportunities for children and their families. She is on the Board of Directors for and collaborates with The Cedarsong Way, the founding forest school pedagogy of North America.
