There’s something magical about the sound of rain tapping gently against the window. For me, rainy days are the perfect invitation to slow down and curl up with a good book. I always find my favorite corner by the window, where I can watch the world fade behind a curtain of raindrops.
With a warm cup of coffee in one hand and a cookie on a small plate nearby, I open an eBook and begin to escape into another world. The smell of coffee, the quiet hum of rain, and the sweet comfort of a cookie create the perfect reading atmosphere.
And just to make it even better—my cat curls up beside me, purring softly as if she, too, is enjoying the peacefulness of the moment. She doesn’t mind the rain or the stillness. She just stays close, a little ball of calm warmth.
This is my ideal reading time. No noise, no rush—just me, my book, a hot drink, and the cozy company of my cat. Rainy days may not be for everyone, but for readers like me, they’re the best days of all.
