At an early age, Ashidapo immersed himself in music, starting with the church choir at eleven and later mastering drums. He holds a degree in Petroleum Oil and Gas from the University of Lagos.
Ashidapo's sound is characterized by its rhythmic groove, passionate vocals, and relatable lyrics, influenced by icons such as Tuface, WandeCoal, and Wizkid, among others. His musical career took flight with his debut single "Mayri" in 2018, produced by Mystro. Following this, he collaborated with producers Kel-P and Tee Jewel for his debut EP, "4am in Lagos," released in 2019.
In 2020, Ashidapo soared to prominence with the chart-topping track "Gbewa," produced by Willis, which captivated audiences with its infectious vibe and energy. His collaboration with Yhemo Lee and Asake on "Mon Cheri" earned him the City People's Best Collab Award in 2020.
Continuing his success into 2022, Ashidapo released the viral hit "Ballon Dior," produced by Austin Sinister, which became a sensation on TikTok and climbed the charts. He followed this with the hit single "South Africa" and the captivating track "Olofar" in 2023.
In 2024, Ashidapo showcased his versatility once again with "Brother," a heartfelt anthem featuring prominent artist Asake, celebrating enduring bonds of brotherhood and friendship.
