Marissa Price was born in Brisbane, Australia. At 31 years old, she has published the first novel in the Into the Abyss Series, Vault of Verona. Other titles in the series include Scourge of Scotland, coming in 2018.
Marissa is a high school teacher in the areas of English and Legal Studies. She loves history, historical novels and is a self proclaimed 'nerd'. With several degrees already under her belt, Marissa is currently completing her Honours thesis in the online radicalisation of school children, alongside her fiction writing and teaching.
Marissa has two beautiful children and a wonderful husband, who are part of an incredibly supportive family. Having published Vault of Verona, Marissa has fulfilled a lifelong dream to write a novel for young adult audiences. http://www.theliteraturefactory.com.au
