Jim has been a gardener for 30 years on the east coast, west coast, and places in between. in 1999 he met and interned with Mel Bartholomew-the inventor of the square foot garden system. Since 2000, he's been a certified SFG instructor and teaches all over the intermountain west and has conducted SFG symposiums in San Diego. He's passionate about what he does and you can tell when you hear him teach. He has a lot of experience with 4 season gardening in his home state of Utah, where winters can get pretty severe. Jim loves to mountain bike, perform card magic, and play guitar in his band.
