I live in New Zealand with my beautiful wife Mari. We lived in Japan for three years, until finally deciding to escape to the land of the long white cloud.
I started writing BLACK AMBER many years ago, during some down time at work, and as a way to entertain my co-workers when they were particularly bored :-) The story grew, and people started asking me what happens next. Slowly it became a whole book! Who knew! So I decided to try self-publishing. For the most part, it was successful. I sold the copies that I had printed, but that was an expensive process, and digital download is the way of the future.
