What it's about
Dr. Joe Dispenza brings together neuroscience, meditation, quantum physics, and the power of the mind to explore a question I think many of us eventually find ourselves asking: What if we are capable of becoming more than the person we have always believed ourselves to be?
The book explores how our thoughts, emotions, habits, and energetic states shape the way we experience our reality. It is part science, part spiritual practice, and part invitation to look beyond the limits we have unknowingly placed on ourselves.
What I thought
Simply amazing.
This was my first book from Dr. Joe Dispenzaβs series, and it opened my mind in so many ways. It was one of those books that made me stop and question what I thought I already knew about the mind, the body, and what is actually possible for us. Everyone should read it.
Dr. Joe explores how ordinary people can access extraordinary states of consciousness by bringing together neuroscience, meditation, and quantum theory.
He explains how our thoughts and emotions can influence the brain, the body, and even gene expression, and how much of our life can be shaped by the patterns we keep repeating.
In simple terms, the book is about moving beyond the survival state and learning how to create a new self from a higher level of awareness.
For me, it wasn't just about learning new concepts.
It was about beginning to see myself differently β and realizing that perhaps changing our lives begins with changing what is happening within us first.
Why I recommend it
If you've ever felt that quiet pull toward something more β something you can't quite explain yet β Becoming Supernatural gives that feeling a language.
It doesn't ask you to simply believe.
It invites you to explore.
And for me, that distinction mattered.
The practices give you something to work with rather than leaving spirituality as an abstract idea. You can actually sit with the concepts, meditate on them, observe yourself, and begin noticing what changes.
Best for
Anyone who feels they are standing somewhere between the life they have always known and the possibility of something deeper.
Especially if you're curious about spirituality but still want to understand the why behind it β and if you're interested in exploring the connection between consciousness, the body, the mind, and the reality we experience.

The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer β a gentler and more introspective companion for the same inner journey. Where Dispenza explores transformation through science, meditation, and the mind-body connection, Singer takes you inward in a quieter way β toward observing your thoughts, releasing what no longer serves you, and discovering the awareness underneath it all.
