Emirates has launched a brand-new, purpose-built “Crew Zone” at its Dubai headquarters — a strategic investment aimed at improving the everyday experience of its 20,000+ cabin crew members. From tech support and operational services to makeup consultations and post-flight recovery, this 7-zone facility represents a serious step forward in how the airline supports its frontline employees. With recruitment surging and global routes expanding, the Crew Zone is more than just a lounge — it’s a logistical hub that doubles as a second home for Emirates crew.



Emirates has unveiled its latest investment in crew welfare and professional development with the opening of the new AED 3 million “Crew Zone” at its Dubai headquarters. This purpose-built facility is designed to support the airline’s growing team of over 20,000 cabin crew members by offering a multifunctional space that blends relaxation, learning, and operational efficiency.​



A Space Designed for Crew, by Crew


Located on the ground floor of the Emirates Group Headquarters, the Crew Zone was developed over nine months and can accommodate up to 200 crew members at any time. The open-plan layout is divided into seven distinct zones, each tailored to meet different aspects of a crew member’s daily needs.​






Key Features of the Crew Zone


  • Crew Engagement Zone: An interactive area where crew can explore upcoming product launches, attend workshops on topics like safety, service standards, and health, or book tours of Emirates facilities such as Emirates Flight Catering.​
  • One Device Hub: A 24/7 tech support station dedicated to Emirates’ One Device program, which equips cabin crew with Apple iPhones or iPad Airs preloaded with custom apps to streamline onboard service.​
  • Crew Lounge: A comfortable space for crew to relax, enjoy refreshments, complete post-flight reports, or catch up with colleagues.​
  • Facilities Distribution Service: A centralized point for collecting essential documents, regulatory paperwork, and devices, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.​
  • Computer Zone: Equipped with high-speed internet and individual workstations, this area supports crew with digital tasks, from booking personal flights to printing documents.
  • Crew Connect Services: A 24/7 support desk where crew can seek assistance on operational matters, HR queries, or general concerns, either in person or via phone and email.​
  • Beauty Hub: Open five days a week, this space offers personalized consultations on makeup, skincare, nutrition, and fitness, helping crew maintain the polished appearance synonymous with the Emirates brand.​
