People with an 8 Life Path often have a natural drive toward success, influence and financial independence. They might collect university dyploma (because of their hard work and dedictation) or skip academical education and quickly open their bussiness. If you are number 8, only you know that nothing happend because your were lucky or privilage: you put yourself there, stayed commited, took opportunities even if they felt like they were intimitading at times. Responisiblity is ingraned in your being.
Here’s the twist: it’s not always about money. It can also be a legacy of strong family, community impact, art, ideas.

The Shadow Side of 8
When 8 energy is out of balance, we see extremes:
- The hyper-achiever: obsessed with status, money, winning, controlling everything.

What are 8 Life Path Kids like?
Now let’s talk children. Because 8 energy shows up early and you’ll know it when you see it.
These kids are usually ambitious, but only if they see that it’s worth it.

Give them real responsibilities, not pretend ones. They need tasks that matter. Let them feel like their contribution counts. (Think: organizing a real family event, not “pretend play”).
Teach them about money early. How it works, how to earn it, how to make decisions.
But please... don’t pay them for taking out the trash. That just teaches them that normal life is a job.
Better idea? Let them sell homemade Christmas cards. Or help plan a garage sale. Let them experience money tied to value, creativity, and choice.
Notice what makes them feel ambitious. It won’t be everything — 8 kids are known for totally ignoring things they don’t care about.
If they’re motivated? Get out of the way. If not? Bribery won’t work.
They can be amazing leaders, especially in group projects, but only if they feel they’re being listened to or have real influence. Let them lead something, even if it’s how the toys are organized.

To find your child’s Life Path number (or yours), you just need their full date of birth.
Add all the numbers together until you get a single digit.
Example:
For a birth date of 12 August 2017, calculate like this:
1 + 2 + 8 + 2 + 0 + 1 + 7 = 21 → 2 + 1 = 3
