Pajama-sky giggles, marshmallows in flight,
I carry a sunrise to chase off the night.
One morning, a goblin woke up to paint the sunrise. She had her brushes ready, her jar of green juice, and even a frog assistant to hold the palette. But just as she dipped her brush—
WHOOSH. A big, grey, lumpy cloud plopped right in front of the sun.
“HEY,” shouted the goblin. “You’re in my way!”
The cloud rumbled. “Too bad. I’m on break.”
So the goblin threw a marshmallow at it.
The cloud ate it.
The goblin threw another.
The cloud ate that too.
Soon the cloud was so full of marshmallows it turned pink and fluffy and couldn’t stop giggling.
Finally, it drifted away, snorting sugar-sparks into the sky, and the sun came out again.
The goblin painted the most ridiculous sunrise ever—striped pink and green, like the sky itself was wearing silly pajamas.
And from that day on, whenever a cloud tried to block her view, she just threw marshmallows until it laughed and moved along.
🐸✨ Moral of the story: sometimes stress is just a rude cloud. Feed it a few marshmallows (or take a silly break and write a silly story), and it might just float off on its own.
