ABOUT ME Hi, my name is Zenah. I grew up in a Lebanese Australian home, where food was and is still the focus of everything. My journey started when I was in high school. I battled Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia at 15 years of age. I did not understand what I was doing to myself physically and mentally and was psychologically not able to realize that I was harming my body and making myself sick. I weighed 43 kg and was near to being fed by the drip, luckily my mum took me to the doctor and I was given iron supplementation. I still didn’t know or understand what the disorder was, and never did due to lack of support and education. I was young and suffered A couple of years later, I got married, and had two lovely kids, a boy, and a girl, who are teenagers now. I embarked on my health and fitness journey in my early 30’s, and joined a gym for 8 years, along with the way I was interested in understanding food, and how I can benefit from food, as well as for my kids, husband, family and friends. When I decided to learn more about food health and wellness, it was then I fell in love with Naturopathy. Naturopathy is holistic health, where the mind, body, and soul are connected as one whole. Our emotional state directly affects our physical state, creating an imbalance of our biochemical makeup. Naturopathy is a system of using alternative medicine based on the theory that diseases can be successfully maintained or prevented without using drugs, using techniques such as control of diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes. Education and guidance is a key part of my practice. I can help with acute and chronic conditions of any age and gender. I use other modalities in my practice such as the use of Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Medicine, Homeopathy, Flower Essences, dietary and lifestyle advice, Nutritional supplementation, and iris analysis.
