Lee Southard (1984) was born in Spokane, Washington. Lee has been playing electronic games for over two decades; the first game that he remembers playing is Pong on Atari and his favorite game is Chrono Trigger. He has been coaching gamers since 2009 and is passionate about promoting eSports. Lee served five years in the United States Army and has deployed to many different countries including Iraq and Afghanistan. He was honorably discharged in 2007 and was awarded two Army Commendation Medals. His first book, "Zen Gaming and the Art of Electronic Sports," is being sold worldwide.
