My stories unfold in the streets of Edinburgh, the dark corners of London, the woods and mountains of Cumbria, and the lonely uplands of Mid Wales. These are landscapes marked by standing stones and forgotten chapels, collapsing coastal paths and tidal estuaries, lost lanes in old cities and woodlands where maps grow vague.
