Real Reframe: a guide to turning your clinical skills into career capital (from someone who did it the hard way) is a lean-and-mean guide to help therapists communicate their skills and value to a world that largely misunderstands them.

The very same skills that you have as a therapist are the exact same ones that took me from burnt-out therapist to Big Tech employee within a year and a half, without any extra formal education or networking.

Therapist training and grad school simply do not address how transferable the skills are, nor their actual value. Therapy culture also doesn't prepare therapists for understanding how the outside world sees them. If I had to guess (hot take warning!) this is meant to keep therapists in the industry as long as possible, convinced they won’t be hirable anywhere else. 

I’m here to tell you that that is simply untrue. Therapists deserve the right to know what their skills are worth in most other realms and how to effectively explain that to the employers in those other realms.
