God's Ancient Pathways
Jeremiah 6:16 says this:
Thus says the Lord:
Stand by the roads, and look,
and ask for the ancient paths,
where the good way is; and walk in it,
and find rest for your souls.
But they said "We will not walk in it."
This verse, along with many other passages in the Bible make it clear that God has a pathway for each and every one of us, and that path is good and it gives us peace.
But it also says we have to look and ask. And it says some will refuse to do it. I don't want to be one of the people who refuses God's instructions. So where do we look and what do we ask?
We look in His Word and that will help us to know how to ask things that are in His will for our walk with Him.
His Word shows us His will for us. But if we don't know His Word we can easily get into error, which can impact every aspect of our lives.
Reading the Bible is a great place to start and the Lord will definitely meet you there. However, I found that when I started digging in - seeking and asking - the renewal of my mind, soul and body was transformed in ways it never had been before.
So I invite you to the Path Finders Membership group where we seek and ask so we can determine the paths God has for each and every one of us.

Testimonials
I have been a Christian many years and it has always been important to me that I am teachable. I hunger for the Holy Spirit to change me and mold me. And one of the ways He does that is through His Word. The studies Nancy has done have taught me more than I could have imagined. They have great insight, details, honesty, with some humor added in. I look forward to them and can't wait for the next one.

FAQs
-
We do Inductive Bible Study, which is a process that follows the Observe, Interpret, Apply system of Bible study.
-
Yes! Previously Path Finders was a multi-tiered membership site where we did thematic studies. You will get access to all of those, in addition to any books of the Bible studies previously studied.
-
These are thematic topics we studied prior to going to a one-tier membership site devoted to studying entire books of the Bible:
"Overcoming the World" which included a deep dive into the 7 churches in Revelation 1-3.
"Faith That Moves Mountains" that included a deep dive into Hebrews 11 which is commonly referred to as the "hall of faith."
"Stories of Courage" which we did in preparation for Esther.
The Book of James. This was done as a real-time study with each video covering 1 chapter. I recorded 1 video per month over 5 months.
-
I've done a variety of different types of studies:
Devo-style (devotional-study): this is a light observation style study where we read a passage, and pull out some nuggets just through observation and maybe a couple of cross references.
Inductive Bible Study: these are much more in depth and include observation, interpretation and application. They are heavily steeped in context.
Real-Time Studies: these are me studying in real time. Generally these are light Inductive Bible Studies where I just work through a passage and find what I can find.
Verse Mapping: this is a type of Inductive Bible Study that digs deep into a single verse. My verse mapping system is heavily steeped in context.

Yes in-between our book studies we will take a break of about a month so we can refresh and rest. During that time I will be doing a maximum of one video study per week. Those studies will cover a single theme that will prepare us for the next book of the Bible we have planned to study.
-
Yes you can! And you can re-join at any time too!
-
The topical studies and book studies will eventually be repurposed into stand-alone topical courses you can buy. However I do not have a time-table for the release of those at this time.
