10. Definition of being

Definition of Being

Each creation in existence is unique and distinct. Regardless of its form, every entity has its own nature and purpose. Understanding the essence of being requires exploring its organic and inorganic manifestations, as well as the nature of existence itself.

The Dual Nature of Existence

No matter how thin or transparent a thing appears, it always has two sides—a dual nature that defines its existence.

  1. Organic Beings
  2. Organic beings can manifest in two distinct ways:
  • Intangible Existence: A being that exists solely as an intangible, spiritual entity.
  • Tangible Form: A being that has both a tangible body system and an intangible spiritual system.
  • The tangible form refers to the physical body.
  • The intangible existence refers to the spiritual essence or system that animates the body.
  1. Inorganic Beings
  2. Inorganic beings consist solely of the body, without a spiritual essence.
  • Any body—whether human, animal, plant, or non-living object—is considered inorganic if the soul has departed from it or never existed within it.

The State of Existence

What determines whether something exists? How can one define the state of being for a thing?

  • If you believe "something exists only when it is visible," this is incorrect.
  • A blind person may not see something, but that does not mean it does not exist.
  • If you believe "something exists only when it is touchable," this is also incorrect.
  • Air and energy, for instance, are intangible but undeniably real.

In truth, existence is defined by whether it can be sensed by one or more forms of consciousness or intuited by the mind.

The Perception of Being

  1. Senses and Intuition
  2. Some beings cannot be perceived through the five physical senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, or touch. Instead, they are perceived through the sixth sense, a heightened intuition.
  3. Mysterious and Enigmatic Beings
  4. Certain enigmatic beings exist but cannot be sensed by all mortals. These beings may be imperceptible to ordinary individuals yet can be intuited by those with heightened awareness, such as immortals.
  5. The Immortal Being
  6. The Immortal Being is the ultimate mystery—profound, subtle, and beyond ordinary comprehension. It surpasses all other mysteries and serves as a key to understanding the essence of existence.

The Questions of Being

As a being, have you ever asked yourself the following questions?

  1. What am I?
  • What is the nature of my existence?
  1. Who am I?
  • What defines my identity and essence?
  1. Why am I here?
  • What is my purpose in this world?

Reflecting on these questions can lead to deeper insights into the nature of being and the mysteries of existence.

Conclusion

Being is not limited to what is visible or tangible. It encompasses both the physical and spiritual, the known and the mysterious. True existence is defined by its ability to be sensed or intuited, even if it transcends ordinary perception. By contemplating the questions of being and embracing its dual nature, one can begin to uncover the profound truths of existence.
