The Story of AQRATE AUDIO SOFTWARE
The Story of AQRATE AUDIO SOFTWARE starts in 1996. In these days we begin to create special software for studios and audio engineers for their specific needs. Computers where not as powerful as they are today, so it was not an easy job.
We created a software called Tiny Composer which was nothing but a midi sequencer running on the just released win 95 but it was able to record the output of a keyboard. Records where able to save as a file and replay it later.
A couple of years later the first plugin was built, a simple compressor inspired by a Manley tube compressor which sounds fantastic and was most used for punching up jazz vocals.
As hard working Developers and Studio Musicians we are still exited to get input from the every day studio and producing work we have the luck to be involved. Nothing compares to a musician who is presenting his art. It's utterly unique and irretrievable.
In 2017 we decided to publish our plugins for everyone who's interested in great sounding tools with an easy to use interface which doesn't occupy 99% of the GPU for emulating moving microphone stands like it is today in some plugins.
You might have ideas, suggestions, comments so please let us know. We love to hear from You.
