I’m a Brit in Japan, I’ve been here for over 20 years now and have no plans to go back to England! I lived in Ichinomiya-shi, Aichi, which is home to Noro for around ten years before moving a few miles to Nagoya, where I teach EY part time.

I’ve been knitting since I was about 7, and my favourite thing to knit is shawls and stranded socks. I love Noro yarns, dancing, running, vintage fashion, drawing, singing, container gardening on my tiny balcony, learning about Japanese crafts, and hanging out with my crafty inspiration and dearest friend CobaltWolf <3

I’m a crafting butterfly - I like trying new things. I spin, bead, felt, sew clothes, make felt stuffies, draw, origami, whatever looks interesting at the time - but I always come back to knitting.
