Writing this book has been among the most beautiful and also vulnerable things I’ve done.
I did not write it in order to act as if an expert. Since I lack all answers, I wrote it. I wrote it since I was overwhelmed, in love, broken, and lost. I also wrote it since too many questions did fill my head. Motherhood shook me to my core within, revealing parts of me I never knew existed, so I wrote it.
The aim of this book is honoring the real, raw, imperfect adventure many mothers walk. From quiet fears during pregnancy to aching joy, here is everything: sleepless nights, identity shifts, invisible pressures. It was simply not sugar-coated. However, it was held with compassion.
Something like a hug is truly what I wanted to try to create. It is a place to cry, laugh, feel seen, also deeply know you’re not alone. Because you’re not.
Every chapter reflects just what it means to mother, being a piece of my heart in a world expecting too much as well as moving fast. We need to exist and it’s a reminder we do not need perfection.
Three people already have bought the book and one of them caused my joyful tears that are for my best friend. That love is indispensable. That support means everything.
I hope that these pages bring a comfort and a clarity and also courage to you if you are a mother or have a loved one.

Read it slowly. Hold it close. Let it speak to your soul.
