Several days ago, I was able to convince a publisher that my concept of a modern romance that travels from Europe to India had the potential to become a series of stories.
However, the usual problem arose for me, I am unable to afford the publishing costs. So I am going to have to rely on Draft2Digital to sell the opening book, don't hold your breath for news of any sales.
This story has the beginning of a possible new genre for me to try, I have never written a story with an LGBT leading character before, not because I didn't wish to, I had been considering the possibility for some time. I was unsure how to approach the subject without causing offence. My award-winning eBook does have an LGBT character in a supporting role.
When I extended the story, I didn't have any idea where it would lead, as I approached the end of the story, I saw the possibility of an LGBT storyline appearing
If this story sells, I have plans for part of the the next book to be set in Spain, but that is a HUGE if.
