Life is messy and full of ups and downs. Because life is unstable, our peace often gets disturbed.
In today's world, our future feels more uncertain than ever. Between the lingering aftermath of the pandemic, the dramatic rise of artificial intelligence destabilizing the job market, and the general turbulence of our personal lives—peace can feel incredibly hard to find.
In reality, there are many things we simply cannot control. We lose a lot of our inner peace trying to fix the uncontrollable.
So, I am giving you ten prompts to help you let go and look inward.
Sit with your thoughts. Understanding why you feel the way you do can bring immense relief and map out a clear path forward.
1.What is the main emotion you have felt for the past week?
2.Can you think of any situation or person contributing to this feeling?
3.What boundary violation have you not yet expressed?
4.How did you feel when your space or boundary was crossed?
5.Are you genuinely happy with your current circumstances?
6.If not, what can you actively do to change your circumstances?
7.What aspect of your life do you feel least confident in (appearance, finances, career, relationships)?
8.Are you comparing yourself to others, or are you not living up to your full potential?
9.What does true peace look like to you?
10.How can you work toward building that peace daily?
A quick note before you begin: Take your time answering these. My best advice is to pick a quiet time of day when you feel most relaxed, and answer just one question per day. Give your mind the space it deserves.
