Buying a printable is easy.
Once you’ve completed the purchase, you will get one PDF or more. Sometimes it’s just one PDF which contains whatever activities you wanted plus instructions, all in A4 format.
Sometimes you’ll get 2 PDFs, one is in A4, the other one is US letter format. Sometimes you’ll get a third PDF with the instructions separate.
Download the PDF or PDFs and then print whichever format or maybe even which pages you want. That’s the beauty of printables, you only print what you intend to use, and you can print whichever pages you want again and again if you need to.
If you get both sizes, print the A4 format which is aimed at UK printers and might also have English spelling of some of the English text.
Print the US letter size if you’re based in the US. Those pages also might have some American spelling - obviously not of the German words 😉
To print an A4 document on a US printer (which is loaded with US Letter paper), you need to adjust your document and printer scaling settings because A4 paper (8.27 × 11.69 inches) is slightly taller and narrower than US Letter paper (8.5 × 11 inches).
Disable "Fit to Page": In the print settings, make sure scaling is set to 100%, Actual Size, or Custom Scale: 100%
