Welcome to Forgotten Fable and the world of Aderyn!

This is a 2D turn based RPG inspired by the classic RPG games from the NES and SNES era. As you step into this vibrant world, you will encounter bustling cities filled with merchants and adventurers, serene forests teeming with mystical creatures, and treacherous monsters that guard secrets long forgotten. Prepare to embark on a journey full of mystery and adventure, of exploration and discovery, and self-realization, where your character's skills and courage will be tested against the challenges that lie ahead.

Your family used to be nobility centuries ago but the family fortune was squandered through each subsequent generation. You've never had a taste of that good life. When you were born, your family was already of average wealth. You're currently twenty years old, living your life as a commoner, eeking out a living on an island off the continent of Astren.

One day after defeating a monster in what used to be your family's castle, a mysterious stranger asks you - "What would you do if you had the chance to make something of yourself?" Funny, It's something you've given serious thought to before. Would you leave the only home you've known if you had the chance to prove to the world that you could be one of it's greatest adventurers? Would you do it to restore your family's name to it's former glory?

Maybe it is time to go seek out your own place in life, seek out your own adventures.

The world is a vast place, full of good but also full of bad people and even more evil creatures. There's nothing that can prepare you for what this world is hiding. This is your story, and it begins now.

This is our first full fledged RPG and is very much a work in progress. This game is made using RPG Maker 2003 and playable through EasyRPG for web. It's made using the RPG Maker RTP but we'll be changing it up and adding some custom sprites as we go, little by little.
