Key Partnership in the Season

And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

2 Kings 6:17

Today, 2 April 2022, I was prompted by Holy Spirit to go back to a word I received on 8 March 2022. It was a word I received in prayer. This prayer was prompted after I received an email from my email account warning me that there were two failed attempts of someone trying to log into my email account. There were some very specific things about the incident that immediately heightened my spiritual senses. I reached out to prophetic people to pray and I went into prayer. In prayer, I received the word below and God began to highlight some very significant things for His people in this season. Today, as I prayed into the word as I typed it up for the blog, God continued to reveal. May those who have (spiritual) eyes to see and (spiritual) ears to hear, receive and align what God is saying.

Word received on 8 March, 2022:

“I need My people to be proactive and not reactive in this season. You must be able to see the strategy of the enemy in the spiritual realm and be able to anticipate his next move. I will sharpen your discernment in this season. Let the scroll ring out! Let the scroll ring out! The scroll of judgment, the scroll of justice. I am opening up a way for My people. A cloud by day and a fire by night, I go before you. Fear not, I will expose the schemes of the enemy.”

At this point, in the realm of the spirit, I saw a vision of a figure/person that was impressed immediately to be an undetected spy sitting in the midst of an army’s strategy meeting in which they were planning their attack. There was someone at a board unveiling the strategy while others sat around a table taking note of what was being unveiled. What struck me as odd, was that even though the person (spy) was sitting at the table, it was as if no one could see him.

I heard the words, “Weapon of war,” “Weapon of war.” Then the message continued, “It is time for the prophetic to partner with the warriors.” I was then reminded of Deborah and Jael in the book of Judges. God reminded me of how Deborah partnered with Barak and went into battle with him and the word she gave him concerning Sisera.

Judges 4:6-10, 18

6 Then she sent and called for Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him, “Has not the Lord God of Israel commanded, ‘Go and [a]deploy troops at Mount Tabor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun; 7 and against you I will deploy Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude at the River Kishon; and I will [b]deliver him into your hand’?” 8 And Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go!” 9 So she said, “I will surely go with you; nevertheless there will be no glory for you in the journey you are taking, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh. 10 And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; he went up with ten thousand men under[c] his command, and Deborah went up with him.

Judges 4:18, 21-22

18 And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said to him, “Turn aside, my lord, turn aside to me; do not fear.” And when he had turned aside with her into the tent, she covered him with a [e]blanket.

21 Then Jael, Heber’s wife, took a tent peg and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him and drove the peg into his temple, and it went down into the ground; for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died. 22 And then, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said to him, “Come, I will show you the man whom you seek.” And when he went into her tent, there lay Sisera, dead with the peg in his temple.

Barak refused to go into battle without Deborah, the prophet. I believe the the Lord is charging His people, His weapons of war, in this season, to NOT go into spiritual warfare without the prophetic revelation. God highlighted that the word Deborah shared to Barak that Sisera will die at the hand of a woman was insight so that Barak didn’t try to take matters into his own hands. God highlighted that without prophetic revelation we not only pray amiss and ineffectively, there can also be a bigger issue because we lose valuable time. He impressed that there are things in the spirit that will require hast and efficiency in being proactive with what is revealed in the spiritual realm. I was then prompted to look up the name of Jael’s husband, Heber. His name means “partner” or “togetherness.” This further confirmed what God is saying about partnership with the prophetic!

God highlighted the spy sitting in the midst of the enemy’s strategic planning meeting. This is the prophetic; those whose senses have been exercised to discern good from evil. Those who like Elisha already saw what was happening in the spiritual realm, while his servant was focused on the natural realm. Those with the ability to access the enemy’s camp through prophetic revelation and be undetected. They will possess the ability to see, hear and discern with greater accuracy and what is revealed will bring about judgment and justice. I pray that this is a word in season for you.

Prayer: Lord, open our eyes and ears in this season as Your people. Give us wisdom to position ourselves in this season to be proactive spiritually so that we can be effective and efficient in prophetic warfare for Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, amen.
