I still remember back when I first started out interpreting dreams on that Baaswaterval forum.
I jumped right into explaining Winti dreams, but let’s be real: I completely missed the mark. My approach and my tools were just way off. Plus, I barely had any real knowledge about the Winti culture and traditions back then.
Of course, this rubbed the regular forum members completely the wrong way. They literally laughed in my face. "Hihi, here’s Ebeline again, talking nonsense," they’d write. Someone even lashed out: "Your dream interpretations suck. Go somewhere else." Some of those members got mad, offended, or felt triggered because they put themselves on this huge pedestal with their own translations.
But despite all the drama and the harsh shade, I didn't back down. I just kept on practicing and translating. I was no Winti expert, sure, but intuitively I could pick up on certain spiritual things and signals pretty damn well. And people noticed. Behind the scenes, my inbox started blowing up with private messages from people asking me to translate their dreams.
Eventually, I called it quits. Why? Because it just didn't feel right anymore.
