Vibes of Fiction is now an official publication on Medium!
This opens the door for new possibilities. My blog and stories can get organized. While documenting my fiction alchemy findings.
But where did this decision come from?
Why I made VoF into a publication
Medium is a platform where writers and readers of can post their blogs to an algorithm like TikTok.
With a $5 membership (or more with other tiers), you can read unlimited articles on Medium. Writers also can paywall their stories and create publications.
Readers get to support their favs and their favs can survive off of their creations. Sounds like a fair trade right?
I've been writing on Medium since late 2023. I didn't foresee my growth as a writer in this short span of time. Nor did I know how far I would take Vibes of Fiction.
Inner Speech Bubble Method wasn't created yet. The idea of a website hadn't even dawn on me. And I for sure didn't know Exclusive Vibes would grow so much as a mailing list.
The more I wrote, the more I realized I needed to organize Vibes of Fiction content.
So I created a publication for it finally!!
What does this mean now
Exclusive Vibes will get access to all Vibes of Fiction Publication articles for free. Just make sure to check your emails going forward!
Vibes of Fiction is bigger than Medium though so I will still post on my website as well. Certain blogs will be posted on both and some will be specific to each platform.
We gotta talk about the zines
The monthly Vibes of Fiction Zines are much more impactful than I thought they would be. Bonus, I love illustrating them as well.
Exclusive Vibes will still gets access to the written content of the Zines first. I honor my email list homies always!
But the question is will I post the zines outside of my site? The answer... I DON'T KNOW. We'll see what happens but in the meantime if you missed past Zines, you can access them here.
