Body Image and Self - Acceptance: A Style Journey

The Glow Ticket Topic Today...for You Susanne

Thinking back on my own journey with style and body image, yes it's like a person who is a man may see you and then you are thinking it may only be my body, that they maybe after which is wrong. So how do we combat those types of negative emotions, it's rather simple limit yourself with those types. And at times having so many men in attention to person's sex, and body image can give off certain energy.

So definitely be mindful that when our body is out of whack our closet has no choice to reflect this, and when our image is doing well, okay then we will also think of ways to reflect this as well, in our wardrobe, and style. There was one point in time where my wardrobe and style was far from who I knew I was, and something along the way............................................told me from these type of experiences that being a soul who is really rather beautiful, wasn't easy and when you understood this, I found life began to shift. What did I mean by this shift?

I meant that as time went on, I distanced myself from certain people, I held certain people at fault, I found their energy lacking in certain standards and decided that this time we were acting accordingly regardless of any consequences good or bad. And yes trust most were. Then yes finding that you have to accept where you are, how you've been treated, and basically what has and is going to transpire because of any of this.

  • Body image is easy to attack... which makes style hard to come by
  • Body image can be a sensitive topic especially for females (weaker sex)
  • Body image needs a certain level of protection
  • Body image is about more than dress, but self expression, healing, knowing who you are, and thinking about what takes place clearly that has caused your body image and self acceptance, a style journey to manifest. Rather by weight loss, gain, birth, transitions in career, relationships starting (or ending), this all plays a pivotal role.

Here's A Glow Ticket Topic Curated List To Help You Build Your Body Image Up

Find what resonates if you are not up to doing them all, then pick a few that you will complete, and then see how you feel, and hopefully they will, make your own life better, than actually feeling otherwise. But ultimately the choice is yours. My own personal fave is Church... joining church is really uplifting, but please know joining wasn't easy, but very fulfilling nonetheless.

  1. Eat well!
  2. Eat only when you're hungry!
  3. Find joy in life!
  4. Join church!
  5. Look after yourself!
  6. Seek professional help!
  7. Refuse to isolate!
  8. Surround yourself with people who are good to you!
  9. Have things to look forward to!
  10. Treat others well!
  11. Bond with things that uplift.
  12. Acknowledge you're a person who's been through some hard things in life but you choose to get enlightenment from this and this shows strength, courage, resilience to their crap!
