The Ceron are a noble faction, desiring a balance between order and freedom. They seek stability among the members of the Conglomerate, but are willing to fight for what they believe in. Sometimes to a fault.

The Mesav seek power above all else. Driven by a sense of duty to their bloodline, Mesav will stop at nothing to attain dominance over the rest of the Conglomerate. Their emperor, Nebenar, is no longer content to sit back and wait as his father did before him. His ambitions will shape the future of the Conglomerate, one way or another.

The Vay live in a constant state of chaos. Made up of loose alliances of pirates, professional criminals, and smugglers, Vay seeks only its best interests in any given scenario. Strength and honor are shunned in favor of impulse and the seizing of the moment. Even if that means their own demise.

The Laneth are all but gone. As intrepid explorers, they were the first to discover the Grakhon, and the first to be destroyed by them. Their loss leaves a hole in the heart of their closest ally, Ceron, and an opportunity for others to exploit the new imbalance of power.

The Kridzen are technocrats, with little concern for the other members of the Conglomerate. They seek to ascend past their humanity, a quest that leaves them little time for politics or warfare.

The Zorok are slaves to profit. Greed and a lust for wealth fuel the engine of their two-tiered society. Serfs toil endlessly on any rock the Zorok can extract resources from, and the matriarchs at the top squeeze every last penny from them. Zorok's loyalties are for sale to the highest bidder at any given moment.
