Jan'a Sullivan is an urban fiction author from Covington, Kentucky. She currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio. Jan'a started off writing poetry to cope with depression and then switched to urban fiction in 2014 where she first released her top series "Taking Wifey To The Grave." In 2015 she launched A sub company "Jan'a Sullivan Presents" Under best selling Authors David Weaver and Shan. Fast forward Jana is now a best selling screen writer and author of over 30 books.

In 2023 Jana launched her production company Vivid Ink Productions which will be a platform for other black and brown girls like her self to tell their stories. Jana will continue to focus on the urban community and the mental health issues that people suffer with in silence. Her goal is to give them a safe space to work through their mental health issues without being judged .
