Lately, I’ve been deep in editing my debut novel, refining sentences and (hopefully) making it readable for you readers 😅. Editing can be both rewarding and exhausting… and frustrating, I might add. I’ve realized that sometimes, the best way to keep my creativity flowing is to step back for a moment. (I really needed this before my brain splattered on my laptop 😭).
So right now, I’m taking a small break from edits. Instead of staring at the same pages for hours 😅, I’ve been setting up a playlist on my Spotify (and singing out of tune 😂 but hey, sometimes I can sound decent). I’m just hoping that the K-pop demon hunter track will keep me motivated and help set the right mood, hahaha.
I actually started writing my debut novel last May 2025, but in June I also began working on another novel, a dark fantasy with a romance subplot. At first, I only wanted to jot down the outline so my brain wouldn’t forget the details, but then it pulled me in… and yes, gave me more frustration too, hahaha. Still, I’m enjoying it.
I’ll be continuing the edits on my debut novel soon, but for now, maybe I’ll switch to another song because this K-pop demon hunter track is getting a little too distracting 😅.
