One of the most fulfilling parts of writing a story is seeing how feedback can encourage you to keep going. Writing can feel like a very personal, sometimes a lonely process with sleepless nights spent turning your thoughts into words, never fully certain how readers will receive them.
And then comes feedback and reviews, like a gentle reminder especially for indie authors like me that the effort was worth it.
Good or bad, reviews are always worth reading. They can make you feel over the moon with joy, but at the same time keep you grounded with the reality that there is always room for improvement. The key is learning how to listen.
Maybe a bit dramatic but that’s what’s running through my mind right now. 😅
