It’s so hard when I want my debut novel to be perfect, to be good enough for readers—that I keep pushing back my publishing date.
But the good thing is, I shared my struggle on TikTok, and thanks to the encouragement of fellow indie authors, I’ve finally decided to stick with my final publishing date. Their support gave me the push I needed.
I know the fear won’t disappear overnight, but I’d rather share my story imperfectly than never share it at all. Here’s to letting go of doubt and moving forward—so I can write my next one.
