I didn't start my career in "tech" in the traditional sense. I learned technology on the job, through real projects and conversations with engineers, architects, and delivery teams.

Over 20+ years, I've worked across transformation programmes, cloud infrastructure, security, FinOps, and tech-adjacent roles—progressing from Business Analyst to FinOps Consultant and £45K to £85K+ without writing production code.

What I saw repeatedly: smart, capable professionals held back not by ability, but because tech language felt intimidating. They didn't need to become developers—they needed tech fluency.
