Q&A

Who are these books and journals for?

These resources are created for children, teens, and the adults who love them—especially mothers who want to build emotional awareness, healthier communication, and deeper connection. They’re also helpful for educators and caregivers looking for gentle, meaningful tools.

Is this therapy or a replacement for counseling?

No. My work is not therapy and does not replace professional mental health support. These books and journals are supportive tools designed to encourage reflection, emotional language, and connection. They can be used alongside therapy or on their own as a starting point.

What if my child (or teen) doesn’t want to talk at first?

That’s completely okay. Many of these activities are designed to reduce pressure and allow emotions to surface naturally. Sometimes the pages speak before words do. There’s no rush and no “right” way to engage.

Do we have to complete everything in order?

Not at all. These resources are meant to be flexible. You can move at your own pace, skip around, or return to certain pages when they feel most relevant.

What age range are these best for?

Most resources include recommended age ranges in the product description. Many are designed to grow with your child and can be revisited at different stages, offering new insight each time.

What if this brings up hard emotions for me or my child?

That’s a very real possibility and it’s okay. Healing work can feel tender. I always encourage taking breaks, offering reassurance, and seeking additional support if needed. You are never doing this wrong.

Are these resources faith-based?

These materials are not faith-based and are written to be inclusive and accessible to families from all backgrounds.

Are these digital or physical products?

Each product listing clearly states whether it’s digital, physical, or both. Please read descriptions carefully before purchasing.

What if I’m not sure where to start?

Start where you feel called. There is no perfect entry point just a willingness to begin. If you’re here, that already matters.
