Thank you to all the people who are supporting this track. I love the grass roots feeling it has created and the idea of avoiding the official platforms. I have been uploading tracks to Spotify, Apple, etc and nothing has had the impact of bringing the song to the people. I will be completely honest, I did not expect such a reaction. I have been listening to people using the word 'genocide' for months, years even and it seems completely legitimate to put it in a song. Rather like the word 'trans' which I have also used in many songs. In the end, neither you are I get to decide what happens in the Middle East. We are all powerless, even if we can't accept this. I have grown up around Jewish people in London and I know how beautiful and kind they are. I just wanted to offer another point of view and I can see how polarising this has been. This song is a peaceful song and while many are uncomfortable about the questioning nature of the lyrics I think it is important. You say one thing, I say another does not cancel what you feel about the pain and suffering on both sides. Of course I have compassion for all human life. In Buddhism every day we are alive is a precious gift. All life is sacred. The peace you say you crave will not be found in the hatred you spew. Be the solution.
