THE RESTORATION OF MEMORY
Christ Arise Books is built upon the sacred work of restoring the spiritual wellbeing of Black people by gathering, curating, and illuminating the most empowering historical, cultural, and theological knowledge available.
It exists as a healing house — a place where our scattered memory is gathered, our wounded identity is rebuilt, and our divine inheritance is restored. Through rigorous research and prophetic storytelling, it offers our people the tools to mend the generational trauma of colonization, cultural erasure, and historical tragedy.
In the same way the Jewish people reclaimed their identity across centuries of exile and catastrophe — from Babylon to the Holocaust — Christ Arise Books seeks to guide Black people into a similar restoration of memory, dignity, and collective strength, so that we may rise whole, healed, and historically anchored once again.

Mission Statement
Christ Arise Books mission is to restore the memory, dignity, and spiritual brilliance of Africa’s Christian heritage for a new generation. Through books, curriculum, and prophetic teaching, this blog exists to uncover the true story of the faith—rooted in African soil, shaped by African theologians, guarded by African kingdoms, and carried forward by a people who refused to let the flame die.
I write to dismantle the erasure, confront the distortions, and rebuild a theological confidence grounded in our own ancestral witness. I create resources that equip black churches, leaders, and everyday believers to reclaim their birthright, recover their history, and rise in the authority of the ancient paths made new.
This is more than content. It is restoration. It is remembrance. It is the return of our story.
Our curriculum restores what history tried to fracture. It weaves the intellectual brilliance of Africa’s earliest Christian thinkers with the prophetic, resilient story of the Black Church to form a renewed, remnant expression of Christianity. This is the hybrid church our ancestors carried in their bones but were denied for centuries through colonization, cultural erasure, and the suppression of African spiritual memory. Now, that inheritance is being rebuilt—whole, rooted, and rising again.
Christ Arise Books exist to repair this distortion and fill the void of memory erasure and image representation.
