The simple journal that helps you track your loved one's care without losing yourself in the process
If you're caring for an elderly parent, a spouse, or any loved one, you already know the bit nobody warns you about. It isn't the appointments or the medication schedule. It's the mental load of trying to hold every detail in your head at once, while also somehow being a person with a life of your own.
That's exactly why I created The Caregiver's Companion.
What's inside
This is a 90-day daily care log and self-care journal, built specifically for family caregivers rather than professionals. Every page is designed around real caregiving days, not clinical checklists. Inside you'll find:
- A Care Recipient Profile and Emergency Information page, filled out once so everything important is in one place
- A Medication Log to keep dosages and timings straight
- Daily Care Log pages for tracking meals, mood, symptoms, and tasks
- A Weekly Caregiver Check-In, because your wellbeing matters just as much as theirs
- A Handoff Page, so if someone steps in to help, they're caught up in under a minute
- Appointment and doctor visit notes, a symptom and incident tracker, and monthly care reviews
It's practical where you need practical, and gentle where you need gentle.
Why I made this
Caring for someone you love is one of the most demanding jobs there is, and you're doing it without a manual, a shift schedule, or a break room. I wanted a journal that helps you stay organised for their sake, but also makes space for you. A caregiver running on empty can't keep pouring from an empty cup.
