C R Lord is a minister of the gospel and has been since February 19, 1974. He is the author of nine books, including his autobiography inspired by his oldest son, Sam, which can all be purchased on Amazon. Some of those same books can be downloaded from this website and his ministry site which is accessible through the link in the menu above. Below is a little of CR Lord's life story.

Born September 27, 1942 in his mother's house on a rainy, Sunday morning, C R Lord entered the world in poverty because his father was never around and his mother was raising the children all by herself. It wasn't until the boy was eight years of age that his father showed himself, and that was to drive C R Lord and his brother to Michigan and drop t hem off with some people they had never met. He then left sand never returned. That would be the last time he would ever see his father. Years later he would find out that his father died while riding a bus on his way to gamble in Las Vegas.

From that time until his graduation from high school at the age of 17 C R Lord and his siblings lived in poverty as their mom struggled to raise them. When C R Lord was 16 his mother had another baby boy through a relationship that she kept secret He was given up in adoption during this season of C R Lord's Life. Eventually she remarried and had one more girl, and that marriage ended in divorce as well. C R Lord graduated from high school and, at the age of 17, he entered the United States Air Force serving America for about eight years.

Time in the Air Force was followed by six years in the drug culture which led to a jail cell in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and a prayer. He asked God to prove himself which led to an amazing transition and a new life. So C R entered into a life filled with peace and a multitude of blessings. The biggest blessing was salvation through Jesus Christ. Beyond that there were years of ministry, a wonderful godly wife , seven godly children and sixteen precious, beautiful grandchildren. So much more has transpired over the years and blessings beyond message came from the Lord.
