ALL YOU NEED IS ONE
When God Is Enough, His Word Will Prevail
Prophetic Intercession and Prayer - May 22, 2026
Sometimes God gives you an entire paragraph.
Sometimes He gives you a Scripture.
Sometimes He gives you a song.
And apparently sometimes He just keeps showing you:

During this livestream, the number one kept coming before me.
And as I prayed and worshiped, the message began unfolding:
One God.
One Savior.
One Spirit.
One Word.
One surrendered person.
Sometimes—
all you need is One.
Before We Even Got Started
There were technical difficulties trying to get the livestream going.
At the time, I interpreted the resistance as spiritual opposition.
Could technical difficulties simply be technical difficulties?
Absolutely.
🤣
We don’t need to rebuke the Wi-Fi router every time it blinks.
Sometimes Comcast just needs prayer.
😭🤣
But regardless of the cause, the response remains useful:
Don’t let resistance automatically become retreat.
If God has given you something to do, a difficult beginning doesn’t necessarily mean you should stop.
Sometimes you troubleshoot.
Sometimes you restart.
Sometimes you wait.
Sometimes you pray.
And sometimes you hit GO LIVE again.
What Can God Do With One?
We tend to be impressed with numbers.
Followers.
Views.
Subscribers.
Attendance.
Sales.
Engagement.
People in the room.
But Scripture repeatedly shows God doing extraordinary things through remarkably small beginnings.
One obedient person.
One conversation.
One prayer.
One act of courage.
One surrendered yes.
The power isn’t in the number one as though the numeral itself has supernatural power.
That’s an important distinction.
The significance is what the number was causing me to consider:
God’s sufficiency.
I don’t need everybody to agree with me if God has given the instruction.
I don’t need a crowd before I obey.
I don’t need human applause to validate what God has asked me to do.
And I don’t need to manufacture momentum.
God is enough.
One With God
Jesus prayed in John 17 about the unity of His followers—an extraordinary picture of believers being one as He and the Father are one.
Biblical unity isn’t everybody becoming identical.
It isn’t personality erasure.
It isn’t forced agreement about every secondary issue.
It’s deeper.
Our center becomes Christ.
Different backgrounds.
Different gifts.
Different assignments.
Different personalities.
Different places.
One Lord.
And when Christ becomes the center, unity stops requiring everybody to orbit around me.
That’s freeing.
And Then Acts 19 Walked In

Here we go.
Because Acts 19 has been following these livestreams around like Job 22:30.

In Ephesus, people who had practiced magic believed the Gospel and made a decisive break with their former practices.
They confessed.
They disclosed.
They brought out their books.
They burned them publicly.
And Scripture gives us this incredible conclusion:
The Word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.
That is not cosmetic Christianity.
That’s transformation.
They didn’t rename the magic books:
“Former Practices Ministries, LLC.”
😭🤣🤣
No.
The LLC was dissolved.
Apparently nobody is allowed to reconvene around here.
Repentance Produces Evidence
Acts 19 gives us a picture of repentance that became visible.
Something changed.
And this is important because repentance isn’t simply feeling bad.
Biblically, repentance involves a turning.
Sometimes that turning creates practical consequences.
Things leave.
Patterns change.
Relationships with former practices change.
Habits change.
Priorities change.
Not because we’re purchasing salvation through behavior.
We are saved by grace.
But grace doesn’t merely forgive us and then politely leave us exactly where it found us.
Jesus transforms people.
Burn the Backup Plan
Now, I’m not suggesting everybody start a bonfire.

Please don’t leave this blog saying:
“Charnette told me to burn the house down for Jesus.”
NO.
😭🤣
Acts 19 describes a specific historical event.
But the principle is worth examining:
Have I actually broken agreement with what God delivered me from?
Or did I keep a souvenir?

That’s uncomfortable.
Sometimes we want deliverance while maintaining emergency access to the old thing.
“I’m done with it.”
But just in case—
we keep the number.
Keep the account.
Keep the stash.
Keep the relationship available.
Keep the old identity nearby.
Keep Plan B.
Acts 19 shows people saying:
We’re done.
What If Your Enemy Becomes Your Brother?
And here is where your message gets especially beautiful.
You weren’t merely reading Acts 19 and praying:
“God, protect me from people involved in darkness.”
You were praying for their conversion.
That’s different.
You were looking at the people you believed were opposing you and saying:
What if God does Acts 19 again?
What if people practicing witchcraft repent?
What if people involved in occult practices encounter Jesus?
What if somebody opposing the Gospel becomes somebody preaching the Gospel?
What if the person we’re praying protection from becomes someone we’re eventually praying with?

Now we’re thinking like reconciliation people.
Testimony Can Feed Expectation
This is where the statement in your screenshot needs a little theological guardrail.
You described the Acts 19 account as a testimony that functions as a prophecy—believing that because God did it then, He can do it again with the same authority and power today.
I would phrase that carefully.
We don’t have to say every historical event in Acts guarantees an identical future event.
Scripture doesn’t give us permission to turn every biblical narrative into a personal promise that God must reproduce on demand.
But testimony absolutely gives us grounds for hope in God’s character and power.
Acts 19 tells us what God has done.
And because He remains capable of saving people from deep darkness, we can boldly pray:
“Lord, do transforming work like that again.”
That’s faith without turning testimony into a formula.
God Can Do It Again
He can still save.
He can still deliver.
He can still convict.
He can still transform.
He can still take someone deeply committed to darkness and bring them into light.
And we don’t have to determine beforehand who is too far gone.
That’s above our pay grade.

Our assignment is much simpler:
Pray.
Love.
Preach Christ.
Tell the truth.
Forgive.
Intercede.
And let God decide what He’s going to do with the person.
The Word Prevailed
This might be my favorite part.
Acts 19 doesn’t conclude:
“And Charnette prevailed.”
🤣🤣🤣
It doesn’t say:
“And the intercessors became famous.”
“And everybody finally admitted who was right.”
“And all the enemies were publicly embarrassed.”
No.
The Word of the Lord prevailed.
THERE IT IS.

Foam finger immediately deployed.
🤣
Because that’s the goal.
Not:
Look at me.
But:
Look at Jesus.
Not:
My ministry prevailed.
But:
His Word prevailed.
Not:
My reputation prevailed.
But:
His Gospel prevailed.
You Don’t Need a Crowd to Begin
This also makes me think differently about the beginning of these livestreams.
When you first start something God has asked you to do, it’s easy to measure significance by audience size.
Three people watching can feel small.
Ten people can feel small.
One person can feel almost embarrassing.
But if one person encounters Jesus?
That’s a person.

And we’ve already established that we’re interested in people around here.
Billions of them.
But billions are made of ones.

SAVE THAT.
Billions are made of ones.
One person.
One salvation.
One testimony.
One family changed.
One person tells another person.
The Great Commission is enormous—
but it still happens one person at a time.
One Surrendered Yes
Sometimes we think God needs a massive infrastructure before He can begin.
And certainly there are assignments that eventually require teams, resources, systems, funding, organization, and leadership.
But those things often come later.
First God looks for surrender.
Who will say yes?
One Moses.
One Esther.
One Mary.
One Paul.
One person willing to obey.
And no, that doesn’t mean one person should attempt to do everything alone.
Biblical ministry includes community, partnership, accountability, and different members of one body.
But you don’t need a committee’s permission to begin obeying what God has clearly entrusted to you.
Especially since—

we fired the committee anyway.
🤣🤣🤣
Worship Until Everything Gets Smaller
The beginning of this livestream included extended worship.
And I love how that fits the message.
Because worship has a way of correcting scale.
The problem looked enormous.
Then you worshiped.
The opposition looked enormous.
Then you worshiped.
The assignment looked enormous.
Then you worshiped.
Nothing necessarily changed immediately around you.
But suddenly you remembered:
Who God is.
And everything else returned to its proper size.
That’s why sometimes before you need another strategy—
you need another look at God.
All You Need Is One
One word from God can redirect a life.
One act of obedience can begin something you cannot yet see.
One prayer can become the beginning of reconciliation.
One Gospel conversation can introduce someone to Christ.
One transformed person can affect generations.
One surrendered life can become useful in God’s hands.
But ultimately, the message isn’t about the power of one person.
It’s about the sufficiency of One God.
That’s the difference.
We aren’t saying:
“All God needs is me.”

Absolutely not.
We’re saying:
“If I have God, I have enough to obey.”
WHEW.
That’s the line.
IF I HAVE GOD, I HAVE ENOUGH TO OBEY.
I may not have the entire plan.
I may not have the audience.
I may not have the resources yet.
I may not know how everything ends.
I may have had to restart the livestream three times.
🤣
But I have God.
So I’ll take the next step.
Let the Word Prevail
Let people repent.
Let darkness lose its grip.
Let former enemies become brothers and sisters.
Let occult books become former possessions.
Let hidden practices be abandoned.
Let families be restored.
Let people encounter Jesus.
Let the Gospel spread.
Let testimonies multiply.
One person.
Then another.
Then another.
Then another.
Until—

Billions.
😍🌍
And when it happens, may nobody confuse where the power came from.
Not a personality.
Not a platform.
Not a ministry brand.
Not a preacher.
Not a livestream.
The Word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.
ALL YOU NEED IS ONE.
Closing Prayer
Father, thank You that You are enough. Teach us not to despise small beginnings or measure obedience by crowds, numbers, or human approval. Give us courage to say yes even when we can only see the next step. We pray for people trapped in darkness—not for their destruction, but for their salvation. Let the Gospel reach them. Bring genuine repentance, deliverance, and transformation. Give us wisdom to distinguish Your promises from our assumptions while still believing boldly in Your power to save. Let Your Word grow and prevail in our homes, communities, ministries, and nations. Take every surrendered yes and use it however You choose. May Jesus receive the glory from every life transformed. In His name, amen.
