BILLIONS FOR CHRIST
The World. The Message. The Mission.
There are moments in our lives when God speaks a word that is so clear, so weighty, and so deeply embedded in our spirit that we never forget it.
For me, one of those moments came on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2014.
The Lord gave me a direct mission:
“You will preach/teach truth and reconciliation to the nations through the spirit of revelation.”
I have carried those words with me ever since.
At the time, I could not have known all that would unfold between that moment and where I am today. I could not see every assignment, every transition, every platform, every person I would encounter, or every way God would teach me to hear His voice and move with Him.
But I knew the words.
Truth.
Reconciliation.
Nations.
Revelation.
And now, years later, I am beginning to understand more deeply what it means to carry an assignment like that.
THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION
Scripture tells us:
“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.”
2 Corinthians 5:18 KJV
This ministry is not about us being the answer.
Jesus is the answer.
We are entrusted with carrying His message.
Paul continues:
“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ…”
2 Corinthians 5:20 KJV
An ambassador represents someone else.
That distinction matters.
We are not called to make ourselves known. We are called to make Christ known.
We are not the reconciler.
Christ is.
But He has entrusted us with the message of reconciliation.
That means the Gospel is not something we were meant to keep to ourselves.
It is something we are called to carry.
TO THE NATIONS
When I hear the word nations, I don’t only think about countries on a map.
I think about people.
Families.
Communities.
Cities.
Cultures.
Generations.
People who know Jesus and people who have never truly encountered Him.
People who are searching.
People who are hurting.
People who have walked away.
People who have never heard.
The assignment is bigger than a building.
Bigger than a church service.
Bigger than a livestream.
Bigger than a social media platform.
The nations are the mission field.
And wherever God gives us influence, we have an opportunity to point people back to Him.
THROUGH THE SPIRIT OF REVELATION
The final part of what the Lord spoke to me in 2014 is just as important:
“Through the spirit of revelation.”
That has shaped the way I understand this assignment.
Revelation is not simply having information.
It is seeing what God is revealing and then having the courage to respond to what He shows you.
It is allowing the Holy Spirit to illuminate Scripture, expose truth, bring understanding, and reveal Jesus in ways that draw people closer to Him.
This is why my ministry has never been about simply having everything figured out before I show up.
So often, I show up and begin to pray, praise, worship, or teach—and then God begins to move.
I am learning to flow in faith with Him in real time.
The training is happening in public.
And sometimes the very thing I am learning is the very thing God is using to teach someone else.
BILLIONS FOR CHRIST
This is where Billions For Christ comes in.
The shirt is not simply merchandise.
It is a visual declaration of the assignment.
The map represents the world.
The words represent the mission.
The message is JESUS.
I don’t know what reaching “billions” will look like.
I don’t know every person God will touch.
I don’t know every nation, every city, every platform, or every divine connection that will be part of the journey.
But I know this:
Jesus Christ is worthy to be known throughout the earth.
And I believe we are living in a time when ordinary believers must be willing to embrace the extraordinary assignment of making Him known.
So when you wear Billions For Christ, I want you to remember that you are not simply wearing words.
You are carrying a reminder.
A reminder that there is a world that needs the Gospel.
A reminder that reconciliation is still the message.
A reminder that Jesus is still Lord.
A reminder that we are ambassadors.
WEAR IT. SHARE IT. LIVE IT.
Maybe your assignment won’t look like mine.
Maybe you won’t preach from a pulpit.
Maybe you’ll never stand behind a camera.
Maybe your mission field is your family, your workplace, your neighborhood, your classroom, your business, or the people you encounter every day.
Wherever God has placed you, you can represent Christ there.
That is the beauty of being an ambassador.
You don’t have to wait for a platform.
Your life is a platform.
Your testimony matters.
Your character matters.
Your obedience matters.
Your willingness to love people matters.
Your willingness to speak truth matters.
Your willingness to point people toward Jesus matters.
And perhaps most importantly, your willingness to let Christ be seen through you matters.
THE ASSIGNMENT CONTINUES
January 1, 2014 was not yesterday.
But the word still speaks to me.
Preach.
Teach.
Truth.
Reconciliation.
Nations.
Revelation.
And now I can see another piece of the picture:
Billions For Christ.
Not because I know how every piece will come together.
But because I know the One who gave the assignment.
So this is my declaration:
The world is the field.
Jesus is the message.
Reconciliation is the ministry.
Revelation is part of the way.
And the assignment is still moving forward.
