IT’S COMING IN HOT
Ready or Not: Renouncing Agreements & Walking in Freedom - August 7, 2026
“It’s coming in hot, ready or not!”
That was the energy of this livestream.
Not because fear was coming.
Freedom was coming.
This was a focused time of prayer, spiritual cleansing, renunciation, and deliverance—an intentional examination of the agreements, patterns, influences, and strongholds that can keep people from walking fully in the freedom Jesus Christ provides.
And the foundation was simple:
Jesus is Lord.
Jesus has authority.
Jesus sets captives free.
The goal was not to become fascinated with darkness.
The goal was to turn completely toward the Light.
NOTHING IN COMMON WITH THE ENEMY
One of the primary Scriptures guiding this session was the account of the Gadarene demoniac in Mark 5:1–20.
Jesus encountered a man whose life had been overtaken by demonic oppression. The man lived among the tombs, cried out, harmed himself, and could not be restrained.
Then Jesus showed up.
The demons recognized Him.
And one of the most striking questions in the passage is:
“What business do we have in common with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?”
That question became a spiritual checkpoint for the livestream:
What business do I have with the enemy?
What agreements have been made knowingly or unknowingly?
What have I entertained?
What have I tolerated?
What have I accepted as normal?
What patterns have been passed down?
What doors need to be closed?
And what needs to be renounced?
The answer is not to become obsessed with the enemy.
The answer is to become fully aligned with Jesus.
RENOUNCE. DENOUNCE. REALIGN.
A major part of the prayer was focused on renouncing and denouncing agreements with darkness.
That means intentionally rejecting anything that contradicts our covenant relationship with Christ.
Not negotiating.
Not entertaining.
Not making room.
Not agreeing.
Renouncing.
The prayer covered the life of the individual, their bloodline, their legacy, and future generations.
This was not about claiming that every struggle has a demonic explanation.
Rather, it was a call to examine our lives honestly and bring anything that does not belong under the Lordship of Jesus into the light.
Because repentance is not punishment.
Repentance is realignment.
THE 16 STRONGMEN
During the livestream, I methodically addressed a list of spiritual strongmen often discussed in spiritual-warfare teaching and prayed against their influence.
Among those addressed were:
- Spirit of Divination
- Familiar Spirits
- Spirit of Jealousy
- Perverse Spirit
- Lying Spirit
- Spirit of Heaviness
- Spirit of Whoredoms
- Spirit of Bondage
- Spirit of Fear
- Seducing Spirits
- Spirit of Antichrist
- Spirit of Error
- Spirit of Death
The livestream summary identifies thirteen of the sixteen addressed by name.
But the larger point was more important than the list.
The list is not the focus.
Jesus is the focus.
We do not need to memorize every name of darkness to know the Name above every name.
We need to know Jesus.
THE ENEMY HAS ALREADY BEEN JUDGED
One Scripture that stood out during the prayer was John 16:11:
Jesus spoke of the ruler of this world being judged.
That changes the posture of the believer.
We are not approaching spiritual warfare as though Satan and Jesus are equal opponents.
They are not.
Jesus is Lord.
The enemy is not sovereign.
The enemy is not omnipotent.
The enemy does not get the final word.
And darkness does not get to define the destiny of someone who belongs to Christ.
This is why spiritual authority must always remain connected to Jesus Christ and His Word.
Authority is not about becoming powerful in ourselves.
It is about standing under the authority of the One who already is Lord.
YOU ARE NOT LIVING IN A DEFICIT
Another powerful thread came through 1 Corinthians 3:21:
“All things are yours…”
That Scripture challenged the mindset of spiritual and emotional deficit.
If we belong to Christ, we don’t have to live as though everything good has been permanently stolen from us.
We are not abandoned.
We are not spiritual orphans.
We are not without inheritance.
Romans 8:32 reminds us that if God did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, He will also graciously give us all things.
And Romans 8:16–17 takes it even further:
We are children of God.
And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.
That is an identity shift.
You don’t approach life from the position of:
“I have nothing.”
You begin from:
“I belong to Him.”
And belonging changes everything.
THE MAN IN MARK 5 HAD A FUTURE
This is one of the things I love about the story in Mark 5.
Jesus did not merely deliver the man from torment.
He restored him to himself.
The man who had been isolated was eventually found sitting, clothed, and in his right mind.
And Jesus gave him an assignment:
Go home.
Tell your people what the Lord has done for you.
In other words:
Deliverance became testimony.
Freedom became witness.
Restoration became ministry.
And that is where this livestream ultimately landed.
Not simply:
“Get free.”
But:
“Get free so your life can testify.”
YOUR FREEDOM IS BIGGER THAN YOU
The livestream moved beyond individual deliverance into the subject of legacy.
What happens when one person decides:
“This stops with me.”
What happens when somebody refuses to keep partnering with patterns that have produced destruction?
What happens when someone chooses Christ?
What happens when someone begins praying for their children, their children’s children, their family, their community, and the nations?
That is where deliverance becomes bigger than personal comfort.
It becomes about legacy.
The prayer was not simply for people to experience freedom for themselves.
It was also for soul-winning, reclaimed purpose, restored destiny, and a foundation of faith for future generations.
WE ARE NOT CALLED TO LIVE BOUND
There is a difference between acknowledging spiritual warfare and allowing fear of spiritual warfare to dominate your life.
Jesus did not call us to live terrified of darkness.
He called us to follow Him.
So when we talk about deliverance, the ultimate destination is not:
“Look at everything the enemy is doing.”
The destination is:
“Look at what Jesus has done.”
The Gadarene man encountered Jesus.
And everything changed.
That is still the center of the Gospel.
JESUS IS THE DELIVERER
There is a temptation in spiritual-warfare conversations to become so focused on demons, strongmen, curses, warfare, and the enemy that we accidentally make darkness the main character.
Not here.
Jesus is the main character.
The enemy is not the hero of the story.
The deliverance minister is not the hero.
The person being delivered is not the hero.
Jesus is.
He is the One who saves.
He is the One who restores.
He is the One who delivers.
He is the One who gives identity.
He is the One who breaks chains.
He is the One who reconciles us to the Father.
And He is the One who gives us an inheritance.
THE LEGACY DECLARATION
This livestream ended with prayer for people to reclaim what had been lost, return fully to God, walk in their identity as His children, and establish a foundation of faith for generations to come.
The declaration was essentially this:
What Jesus has delivered me from will not define me.
What God has called me to will not be surrendered to darkness.
My past does not have the final word.
My family history does not have the final word.
Fear does not have the final word.
Bondage does not have the final word.
The enemy does not have the final word.
Jesus does.
And because He does, I can stand.
I can repent.
I can renounce.
I can forgive.
I can obey.
I can believe.
I can walk in freedom.
And I can tell somebody else what the Lord has done.
KINGDOM COORDINATE
RENOUNCE WHAT DOES NOT BELONG.
REALIGN WITH JESUS.
STAND IN YOUR IDENTITY.
WALK IN FREEDOM.
BUILD A LEGACY OF FAITH.
TELL WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE.
The purpose of spiritual warfare is not to keep us staring at darkness.
It is to bring us into greater agreement with Jesus Christ.
So if there is something that needs to be surrendered, surrender it.
If there is something that needs to be renounced, renounce it.
If there is something that needs to be confessed, confess it.
If there is someone who needs forgiveness, forgive.
If there is a door that needs to be closed, close it.
And then—
keep walking with Jesus.
Because freedom is not merely getting something off of you.
Freedom is learning how to walk with the One who set you free.
SCRIPTURE FOUNDATION

THE FINAL WORD
JESUS SAVES.
JESUS DELIVERS.
JESUS RESTORES.
JESUS REDEEMS.
JESUS REIGNS.
And if Jesus has set you free—
walk free.
Then turn around and tell somebody else:
“Look what the Lord has done.”
KINGDOM COORDINATES.
KINGDOM ALIGNMENT.
KINGDOM PURPOSE.
JESUS CHRIST AT THE CENTER.
