THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION
When the Word Becomes a Witness - August 5, 2026
There is something powerful about the Word of God.
It does not merely give us information.
It transforms us.
It corrects us.
It convicts us.
It strengthens us.
It exposes what needs to be dealt with.
It breaks bondage.
And then it sends us back into the world with something to say.
This broadcast was centered around one simple but weighty truth:
We were not saved merely to sit on salvation.
We were saved and then entrusted with the ministry of reconciliation.

THE WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE
The broadcast began with a focus on the power of the Word.
The Word of God is sharp.
The Word cuts through deception.
The Word brings things into the light.
The Word can confront what has been operating in darkness.
And the Word can transform the person who receives it.
But there is another dimension to the Word:
We have to believe it, speak it, live it, and carry it.
There is a difference between having a Bible and allowing the Word of God to govern your life.
There is a difference between knowing Scripture and letting Scripture renew your thinking.
There is a difference between hearing the Word and becoming a doer of the Word.
And there is a difference between receiving the Gospel personally and becoming a messenger of that Gospel to somebody else.

THE TWO-SIDED COIN OF SALVATION
This became one of the central themes of the broadcast.
I described salvation as a two-sided coin.
On one side:
I receive Jesus.
On the other:
I become a minister of reconciliation.
I don’t mean that every believer has the same ministry assignment or public platform.
But Scripture makes clear that those who have been reconciled to God are entrusted with the message of reconciliation.
Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:18 that God has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
That’s huge.
God didn’t just rescue us from something.
He brought us to Himself.
And then He gives us a message to carry:
Come home.

RECONCILIATION IS THE KINGDOM AGENDA
The world has plenty of distractions.
There is always something competing for our attention.
But Jesus gave us a priority:
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness.”
— Matthew 6:33
First.
Not eventually.
Not when everything else is finished.
First.
When the Kingdom becomes first, our priorities begin to change.
What matters to God begins to matter more to us.
People matter.
Souls matter.
Truth matters.
Holiness matters.
Forgiveness matters.
Reconciliation matters.
And the Gospel matters.

DON’T FORGET WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW
One of the Scriptures discussed was Philippians 3:1.
Paul essentially tells believers that writing the same things again is not a burden to him—it is a safeguard for them.
That is such a powerful reminder.
Sometimes we don’t need a brand-new revelation.
Sometimes we need to remember what God already said.
Read it again.
Hear it again.
Believe it again.
Stand on it again.
There is safety in remembrance.
Because when pressure comes, we need something deeper than our emotions.
We need the Word.
When circumstances change, we need something that does not change.
The Word.
When the world gets loud, we need to remember what God has already spoken.
The Word.

FILLED WITH THE FULLNESS OF GOD
The broadcast also focused on Ephesians 3:19 and Paul’s prayer that believers would be filled with all the fullness of God.
That is not a casual prayer.
Think about what Paul is asking.
Not merely:
“God, bless them.”
But:
Fill them.
Fill their hearts.
Fill their understanding.
Fill their lives.
Fill them with the knowledge of Christ’s love.
Fill them beyond what human understanding can fully comprehend.
And that fullness changes what comes out of us.
Because eventually, what fills you will flow through you.
If the Word fills you, the Word will come out.
If worship fills you, worship will come out.
If love fills you, love will come out.
If Christ fills you, Christ will be revealed through you.

CLEAN HANDS. PURE HEART.
But there was another important part of this broadcast:
The messenger matters.
We cannot talk about carrying the Word while ignoring the condition of our own hearts.
Repentance matters.
Forgiveness matters.
Integrity matters.
Clean hands matter.
A pure heart matters.
Not because we earn God’s love through perfection.
But because God is continually transforming us into vessels that can be used for His purposes.
Sometimes before God changes the atmosphere around us, He wants to deal with something inside us.
So the prayer becomes:
Search me.
Clean me.
Forgive me.
Correct me.
Make me usable.
That is not condemnation.
That’s consecration.

AUTHORITY UNDER CHRIST
Another major theme was spiritual authority.
The broadcast included prayer over homes, finances, bloodlines, and circumstances, including pleading the blood of Jesus and praying for God’s protection and intervention.
But authority must always remain under Christ’s authority.
We don’t create spiritual power by saying the right words.
Our confidence comes from Jesus.
The Word is powerful because it is God’s Word.
Prayer is powerful because we are coming to God.
The blood of Jesus is significant because of what Christ accomplished.
And our authority exists because we belong to Him.
That keeps the focus where it belongs:
Not on us.
Not on our formulas.
Not on our performance.
On Jesus.

THE FULLNESS OF THE NATIONS
This broadcast carried a very large prayer burden:
billions of souls.
The prayer reached toward the salvation of the nations—the Gentiles and the Jewish people coming into the family of God according to God’s purposes.
Romans 11 was part of that conversation, along with the picture of God’s unfolding redemptive plan.
This is bigger than building a platform.
Bigger than gaining followers.
Bigger than creating content.
Bigger than becoming known.
People need Jesus.
That is the burden.
And that is why the prayer kept returning to salvation.

ACTS 19 — WHEN DARKNESS LOSES ITS HOLD
Acts 19:19 was also brought into the broadcast.
The passage describes people who had practiced sorcery bringing their books together and publicly dealing with their former practices after encountering the power of the Gospel.
The point was not fascination with occultism.
The point was freedom from it.
When Jesus becomes Lord, old agreements can be abandoned.
Old practices can be surrendered.
Old identities can be left behind.
The Gospel doesn’t simply tell people to stop doing something.
It introduces them to Someone.
Jesus.

TELL THE NEXT GENERATION
Psalm 145:4 says:
“One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.”
That is legacy.
What God does in your life should not stop with you.
Tell somebody.
Tell your children.
Tell your grandchildren.
Tell the next generation.
Tell the person who thinks God has forgotten them.
Tell the person who thinks they have gone too far.
Tell the person sitting in darkness.
Tell them what Jesus has done.
Your testimony can become somebody else’s invitation.

BOLD AS A LION
Then there is Proverbs 28:1:
“The righteous are bold as a lion.”
I love that imagery.
Not reckless.
Not arrogant.
Bold.
There is a holy boldness that comes from knowing who you belong to.
You don’t have to manufacture it.
You don’t have to pretend to be fearless.
You can simply stand on what God has said.
The righteous are bold because their confidence is ultimately in God, not themselves.
And when God gives you something to say—
say it.
When He gives you something to teach—
teach it.
When He gives you someone to pray for—
pray.
When He opens a door to share the Gospel—
open your mouth.

JESUS DID NOT COME TO CONDEMN THE WORLD
This brought us to John 3:17.
Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world.
He came so that the world might be saved through Him.
That is the heart of reconciliation.
And it should shape how we carry the Gospel.
We don’t have to become prosecutors of the world.
We are called to become witnesses of Jesus.
There is a difference.
The Gospel tells the truth about sin.
But it also announces the Savior.
The Gospel exposes darkness.
But it also introduces people to Light.
The Gospel calls people to repentance.
But it also tells them about grace.
And at the center of it all is Jesus Christ.

THE WORD MUST GO SOMEWHERE
One of the strongest ideas from this broadcast was this:
The Word is not supposed to stop with you.
You receive it.
You are changed by it.
You stand on it.
You speak it.
You demonstrate it.
And you carry it.
That is what makes the Word a witness.
The world doesn’t simply need people who can quote Scripture.
It needs people whose lives testify that Jesus is real.
People who forgive.
People who repent.
People who love.
People who stand.
People who pray.
People who tell the truth.
People who reconcile.
People who keep showing up.
People who carry the presence of Christ into ordinary places.

THE GREAT COMMISSION IS STILL GREAT
The livestream ended in extended intercession for the salvation of billions of souls, deliverance for those under the influence of the enemy, and the manifestation of God’s promises in the lives of those being prayed for.
And perhaps that’s where this entire message comes together.
The Word is powerful.
Salvation is real.
Reconciliation is our assignment.
The Kingdom comes first.
Clean hands and a pure heart matter.
Authority belongs under Christ.
The generations matter.
The nations matter.
Souls matter.
And Jesus still saves.

KINGDOM COORDINATE
RECEIVE THE WORD.
BELIEVE THE WORD.
LIVE THE WORD.
SPEAK THE WORD.
CARRY THE WORD.
PREACH THE GOSPEL.
SEEK THE KINGDOM.
KEEP YOUR HEART CLEAN.
RECONCILE PEOPLE TO CHRIST.
TELL THE NEXT GENERATION.
We are not simply consumers of the Gospel.
We are witnesses.
We are ambassadors.
We are ministers of reconciliation.
And wherever God has placed us, we can carry the message:
Jesus saves.

Acts 2 — The outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the expansion of the Gospel.

THE FINAL WORD
THE WORD IS STILL WORKING.
So don’t bury what God has put in you.
Don’t keep the Gospel to yourself.
Don’t allow distraction to replace assignment.
Don’t allow condemnation to silence your testimony.
Don’t allow fear to keep your mouth closed.
Receive Christ.
Know His Word.
Walk in His righteousness.
Keep your hands clean and your heart yielded.
Seek the Kingdom first.
And then—
GO TELL SOMEBODY.
Because the same Jesus who reconciled you to God is still reconciling the world to Himself.
KINGDOM COORDINATES.
KINGDOM ALIGNMENT.
KINGDOM PURPOSE.
JESUS CHRIST AT THE CENTER.
