When God Lets Us See the Thread
One of the most interesting things about my livestreams is that I rarely know exactly what God is going to do.
I show up.
I may sing.
I may pray.
I may teach.
Sometimes I do all three.
And then, somewhere in the middle of it, He chimes in.
I believe the Lord is teaching me to flow in faith with Him in real time. What you see on the livestream is not a polished production. In many ways, it is my training ground—and my training is on display.
Then, sometimes after the livestream is over, something happens that makes me stop and say:
“Wait a minute, Lord…”
A conversation, a number, an unexpected encounter, something a viewer says, or even something as ordinary as change from a cash register can cause me to look back at what happened and wonder whether there is a thread connecting it all.
That is why I wanted to begin keeping a Prophetic Ledger.
Not to tell you what you must believe.
Not to make every coincidence into a prophecy.
But to remember, record, pray, and discern.
I want us to take these moments back into our quiet time with God and ask Him:
“Lord, what are You showing me?”
THE LIVESTREAM THAT ENDED AT 1%
I watched the replay from September 14, 2026, and noticed that it ended rather abruptly.
At first, I wasn’t sure why.
Then I looked at my phone.
1% battery.
I had turned off the Facebook livestream just in time.
Now, could that simply have been a phone running out of battery?
Absolutely.
But knowing how the livestream had unfolded, I couldn’t help but pause and say, “Lord, You really know how to get my attention.”
The replay was preserved.
The stream was completed.
And once again, I was reminded of something I’ve been learning:
Keep it simple.
I don’t need everything to be perfect before I obey God.
Sometimes it’s just me, my Bible, my phone, a microphone, and a willingness to say, “Yes, Lord.”
THE HIBISCUS
Then came another little moment.
A new subscriber greeted me and sent a hibiscus flower onto the screen.
Those of you who know me know that the hibiscus is one of my favorite flowers.
What made the moment even more interesting was that she told me God had prompted her to put a flower on the screen.
She didn’t know why.
She simply obeyed.
And there it was.
A hibiscus.
For me, it immediately brought to mind the imagery of the Rose of Sharon and reminded me that God can use the smallest details to draw our attention back to Him.
I don’t need to force an interpretation.
Sometimes the beauty is simply in recognizing the moment and saying:
“Thank You, Jesus.”
And perhaps that’s part of what makes a prophetic community so beautiful.
One person prays.
Another person obeys an unexpected prompting.
Someone else notices something.
And together, we bring it before God.
2111
Then I started seeing 2111.
The first time, I didn’t think much about it.
Less than three minutes later, a car merged in front of me with the same number.
That got my attention.
Was 2111 automatically a prophetic message?
I don’t know.
And I don’t want to pretend that I do.
But I do believe there is value in taking these moments into prayer instead of immediately dismissing them—or immediately declaring exactly what they mean.
Interestingly, the number appeared on a red car, just like mine.
That made the moment even more memorable.
Red brought several biblical images to my mind: covenant, sacrifice, blood, fire, and zeal.
Again, I don’t want to manufacture a meaning that God hasn’t given me.
I simply wrote it down.
2111.
Red car.
My red car.
Three minutes apart.
Ledger entry.
Pray over it.
Watch.
Listen.
Discern.
FOUR DIMES
Then came the one that really made me stop.
I went to the store for puppy pads.
I didn’t even want to go.
I bought one package.
Then I went back and grabbed another because I knew I would need them again.
They were $5 each.
I had exactly $11.00.
After the purchase and $0.60 in tax, I was left with:
$0.40.
Four dimes.
I immediately thought of Moses.
And if you’ve been watching the livestreams, you know that Moses has already been part of our recent conversations.
The number 40 carries significant biblical associations. Moses spent 40 years in Midian before the burning bush encounter, and Israel spent 40 years in the wilderness.
So when four dimes landed in my hand, I couldn’t help but wonder:
What is God teaching me about preparation, wilderness, transition, and obedience?
Maybe the point wasn’t the money itself.
Maybe the point was that I noticed.
AND THEN THERE WERE THE PUPPY PADS…
Here’s where this gets especially interesting.
Many of you already know my puppy.
Some of you have practically watched her grow up through the livestreams.
And some of you remember the globe.
I used to bring an actual globe onto the livestream when we prayed for the nations.
One day, my puppy got hold of the globe and literally bit parts of South America.
One of the viewers asked me which areas she had bitten.
I looked at the globe and named five areas.
At the time, I didn’t think much about it.
But then I couldn’t find another globe.
For days.
Eventually, I felt prompted to research those five areas to see whether there were any significant health concerns, outbreaks, or other issues happening there.
When I researched them, I found something that stopped me in my tracks.
The five areas I had identified were the areas I found associated with Hantavirus concerns in South America.
So we prayed.
We prayed for salvation.
We prayed for healing.
We prayed for deliverance.
We prayed for those territories and the people living there.
Was my puppy intentionally delivering a prophetic message?
I can’t prove that.
But was the timing unusual enough to make me pay attention?
Absolutely.
And that’s the story behind why I smiled when I realized that my latest “God moment” involved going to the store specifically for puppy pads.
The same puppy.
The same intercession.
Another unexpected connection.
WHAT I’M LEARNING
Maybe the biggest lesson isn’t that every number, object, encounter, or coincidence has a hidden prophetic meaning.
Maybe the lesson is learning to pay attention without becoming obsessed with signs.
There is a difference between looking for God and looking for signs.
I want to look for God.
I want to know His Word.
I want to hear His voice.
I want to obey what He says.
And when something unusual happens, I want to be humble enough to write it down and ask:
“Lord, is this You?”
If it is, He is perfectly capable of confirming it.
If it isn’t, I don’t need to force it.
That’s part of the training too.
Flowing in faith requires discernment.
THE LIGHT
That brings me back to JEHOVAH-ORI — The Lord My Light.
Light doesn’t always reveal everything at once.
Sometimes it simply gives you enough light for the next step.
That’s what I believe the Lord is teaching me in this season.
Show up.
Pray.
Listen.
Move when He says move.
Write down what happens.
Come back and remember.
And then ask Him for understanding.
The Prophetic Ledger is not a book of predictions.
It is a record of remembrance.
A place where we can document the moments that make us pause, take them before the Lord, and allow Him to bring clarity in His timing.
Because sometimes we don’t understand the moment while we’re living it.
Sometimes the revelation comes later.
Sometimes the connection doesn’t become visible until we look back.
And sometimes…
God simply gives us a little wink.

Where might God be teaching you to trust Him with simplicity?

What seemingly small act of obedience has encouraged you recently?
3. 2111
Are there things you’re noticing repeatedly? Instead of immediately assigning meaning, bring them to God and ask Him for discernment.
4. The four dimes
What season of preparation or transition are you currently walking through?
5. The puppy and the globe
Has God ever used something completely ordinary to redirect your attention toward prayer?
And most importantly:
What is the Lord saying to YOU?
JEHOVAH-ORI
The Lord My Light.
May we never become so fascinated with the sign that we miss the One who gives it.
May our eyes remain on Jesus.
May our ears remain open.
May our hearts remain teachable.
And may everything we see, hear, and experience ultimately draw us closer to Him.
Keep watching.
Keep praying.
Keep discerning.
Keep flowing in faith.
