WHEN GOD SAYS GO
Faith, Obedience & the Impossible - August 12, 2026
There are some things God asks us to do that make absolutely no sense to the natural mind.
Go.
Wait.
Speak.
Be quiet.
Start.
Stop.
Give.
Pray.
Believe.
Move.
And sometimes the instruction is so unconventional that the first temptation is to question whether we heard God at all.
But what if the very thing that doesn’t make sense to us is the place where God is teaching us to trust Him?
This livestream was a deep dive into faith, obedience, revelation, identity, spiritual opposition, and the unlimited power of God.
The central message was simple:
Don’t limit God.
What is impossible with man is possible with God.
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD
We began with the greatness of God.
Sometimes our biggest problem isn’t that God lacks power.
It’s that our expectations have become too small.
We look at circumstances.
God sees possibilities.
We look at limitations.
God sees purpose.
We look at the obstacle.
God sees the way through it.
The question isn’t:
“Can God do this?”
The question is:
“Will I trust Him enough to follow Him?”
Because faith becomes visible when obedience is required.
WILLING AND OBEDIENT
Isaiah 1:19 says:
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.”
That Scripture carries both invitation and responsibility.
Willingness matters.
Obedience matters.
God isn’t simply looking for people who agree with Him intellectually.
He is forming people who will follow Him.
Sometimes the blessing isn’t found in knowing what God said.
It’s found in doing what He said.
And sometimes obedience begins with something incredibly small.
A phone call.
A conversation.
A prayer.
A change of direction.
A decision.
A step.
A simple “yes.”
OBEDIENCE CAN PRECEDE REVELATION
One of the things I shared during this livestream was how God has taught me through situations where I didn’t initially understand what He was doing.
I followed the instruction.
Then the revelation came.
That has taught me something:
Sometimes you don’t get the full explanation before you obey.
We often want the blueprint before taking the first step.
But God may give us the next step.
Then the next.
Then the next.
Faith says:
“I don’t have to know everything to obey what I already know.”
DON’T LIMIT GOD
Galatians 3:1–8 came into the conversation as a warning about returning to human effort and limiting what God is doing by our own understanding.
The Christian life cannot be reduced to what we can accomplish through human strength.
God is Spirit.
God is supernatural.
God is not confined to the boundaries of our expectations.
So don’t make your limitations God’s limitations.
You may not know how.
You may not know when.
You may not know through whom.
You may not even understand why.
But if God has spoken, your responsibility is to seek Him and follow Him.
THE WORD EQUIPS THE PERSON
This became especially powerful when we looked at Jeremiah.
Jeremiah 1:9 says:
“Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.”
God gave Jeremiah a word before Jeremiah had the outward evidence of the assignment.
Think about that.
The assignment had not fully manifested.
But the Word had already been given.
God didn’t wait until Jeremiah looked like a prophet to put His Word in him.
The Word came first.
The identity and assignment were established by God before the visible ministry unfolded.
That is important for anyone who feels like:
“I’m not ready yet.”
Maybe you aren’t.
But God knows how to equip the person He calls.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO LOOK LIKE THE ASSIGNMENT
Sometimes we think we need to become the finished version of ourselves before we can say yes to God.
But Scripture shows us something different.
God calls people in process.
Jeremiah had questions.
Moses had questions.
Gideon had questions.
Peter had questions.
The disciples had questions.
The issue isn’t whether we have questions.
The issue is whether we will continue following Jesus while we have them.
Your outward assignment may not have started yet.
That doesn’t mean God hasn’t already begun preparing you.
THE POWER OF A WORD FROM GOD
Jeremiah’s calling included language about uprooting, breaking down, destroying, overthrowing, building, and planting.
That is powerful language.
But the power wasn’t Jeremiah’s.
The Word was God’s.
This distinction matters.
When God gives His people a word, we don’t become the source of the authority.
We become the vessel.
The authority belongs to Him.
The glory belongs to Him.
The assignment belongs to Him.
And the responsibility is to faithfully carry what He has entrusted to us.
DON’T COMPARE YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Another major part of this livestream dealt with envy, obsession, comparison, and what I described as a religious spirit.
Comparison can quietly become a form of distraction.
You start watching what someone else is doing.
Then you begin measuring your own progress against theirs.
Then you question your calling.
Then you start seeking validation.
And before you know it, you’re spending more energy watching somebody else’s assignment than obeying your own.
Stop looking sideways.
Look up.
Look to Jesus.
Ask Him:
“What are You asking me to do?”
THERE IS ROOM IN THE KINGDOM
You don’t have to compete with somebody else’s obedience.
Their assignment doesn’t cancel yours.
Their gift doesn’t invalidate yours.
Their audience doesn’t diminish your reach.
Their season doesn’t determine your timing.
God doesn’t need you to become somebody else.
He needs you to become faithful with what He gave you.
That is freedom.
A FORM OF GODLINESS
2 Timothy 3:1–5 was another serious warning in this teaching.
Paul speaks of people having:
“a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.”
That phrase should cause us to pause.
Because appearance is not the same thing as transformation.
Religious language isn’t the same thing as relationship.
A platform isn’t the same thing as fruit.
A title isn’t the same thing as obedience.
And activity isn’t automatically evidence of God’s approval.
We have to keep asking:
Is Jesus actually at the center?
DON’T SEEK VALIDATION FROM RELIGIOUS STRUCTURES
Sometimes people become so concerned with whether they fit inside a particular structure that they forget to ask whether they are obeying Jesus.
God may use structures.
God may use churches.
God may use ministries.
God may use organizations.
But none of those things should become substitutes for Christ.
The assignment is not the Savior.
The ministry is not the Savior.
The platform is not the Savior.
Jesus is.
ISAIAH 54 — YOUR INHERITANCE
Isaiah 54 also came into this livestream as a powerful reminder of inheritance and God’s protection.
The chapter contains strong covenant language concerning what rises against God’s people and what belongs to them.
This isn’t permission for personal arrogance or vengeance.
It is a reminder that God’s people can trust Him with opposition.
When something comes against what God has established, we don’t have to panic.
We can return to His Word.
We can pray.
We can stand.
We can trust.
And we can remember:
God is still God.
BILLIONS FOR CHRIST
That led naturally into prayer for the nations.
Psalm 2:8 says:
“Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”
The burden wasn’t simply for a larger ministry.
It was for souls.
For billions of people to encounter Jesus.
For people involved in darkness, deception, and occult practices to encounter the light of Christ.
For people who are far away to become witnesses.
For people who once served darkness to become carriers of the Gospel.
Acts 19 gives us a picture of this kind of transformation.
People encountered the Word.
Their lives changed.
Former practices were abandoned.
And:
“So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.”
The Word prevailed.
FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT
This is bigger than winning an argument.
It’s bigger than proving someone wrong.
It’s bigger than defeating an opposing belief system.
We want people saved.
We want people transformed.
We want people to know Jesus.
We want people who were once walking in darkness to become witnesses of the Light.
That is why prayer matters.
That is why preaching matters.
That is why teaching matters.
That is why obedience matters.
Because there are people who haven’t heard what you have heard.
There are people who haven’t encountered Jesus the way you have encountered Him.
And your obedience may become part of how someone else finds the Light.
THE DEBT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
Colossians 2:13–14 brings another powerful truth into the conversation.
Paul describes Christ as having blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, taking it out of the way and nailing it to the cross.
That changes everything.
The cross dealt with the debt.
Jesus accomplished what we could never accomplish through human effort.
So we don’t minister from a place of trying to earn God’s love.
We minister because we have received His love.
We don’t preach so God will approve us.
We preach because Christ has already reconciled us.
We don’t serve to manufacture identity.
We serve from the identity He gives.
ALL THINGS ARE YOURS
1 Corinthians 3:21–22 says:
“Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours…”
Paul goes on to speak of things belonging to believers in Christ.
This isn’t a license for materialism or self-exaltation.
The context points us back to Christ.
Don’t boast in men.
Don’t build your identity around personalities.
Don’t become dependent on human approval.
Everything ultimately belongs to God.
And because we belong to Christ, we can stop living as though somebody else’s success has stolen something from us.
There is room in the Kingdom.
THE ENEMY CAN’T MAKE YOU SOMEBODY ELSE
Envy is dangerous because it makes you believe somebody else’s portion should have been yours.
Obsession is dangerous because it keeps your attention locked on someone else’s path.
Comparison is dangerous because it makes you question the uniqueness of God’s work in your life.
But you don’t need their assignment.
You need yours.
You don’t need their voice.
You need to hear God.
You don’t need their validation.
You need obedience.
You don’t need to become a copy.
You need to become faithful.
WHEN GOD SAYS GO
There will be moments when God says:
Go.
And you don’t feel ready.
Go anyway—if you have genuinely heard Him and the instruction aligns with His Word.
There will be moments when He says:
Wait.
And waiting feels like doing nothing.
Wait anyway.
There will be moments when He says:
Speak.
Speak with humility.
There will be moments when He says:
Be quiet.
Be quiet.
There will be moments when He says:
Move.
Move.
Faith isn’t simply believing God can do something.
Faith is trusting God enough to follow His lead.
THE IMPOSSIBLE BELONGS TO GOD
We cannot manufacture miracles.
We cannot control God’s timing.
We cannot force revelation.
We cannot manipulate people into transformation.
But we can believe.
We can pray.
We can obey.
We can preach the Gospel.
We can love people.
We can stand on the Word.
We can keep our hearts surrendered.
And we can leave the impossible with the God who specializes in it.
THE KINGDOM COORDINATE
This livestream left me with a powerful Kingdom Coordinate:
DON’T LIMIT GOD. OBEY THE WORD. WALK YOUR ASSIGNMENT.
You don’t need to understand everything.
You don’t need to look like the finished product.
You don’t need everybody’s approval.
You don’t need someone else’s platform.
You don’t need to compete.
You don’t need to compare.
You need Jesus.
You need His Word.
You need the Holy Spirit.
You need courage to obey.
And you need faith to believe that what God has called you to do, He is able to equip you to accomplish.
ASK FOR THE NATIONS
The prayer for billions wasn’t about numbers for numbers’ sake.
It was about people.
Families.
Communities.
Nations.
People trapped in darkness.
People who have never heard the Gospel.
People who think they are too far gone.
People who have been deceived.
People who are searching.
People who don’t know that Jesus is calling them home.
Lord, let the nations know You.
Let the Gospel go forth.
Let darkness give way to light.
Let captives be free.
Let the Word prevail.
Let those who encounter You become witnesses.
ONLY GOD CAN DO IT
At the end of the day, this isn’t about how impressive we can become.
It isn’t about how powerful we can appear.
It isn’t about how perfectly we execute an assignment.
It’s about knowing that:
God can.
God can save.
God can heal.
God can restore.
God can reveal.
God can redirect.
God can equip.
God can use the unlikely.
God can open doors.
God can close doors.
God can take a seed and produce a harvest.
God can take a willing vessel and accomplish something far greater than that vessel could have imagined.
So don’t limit Him.
KINGDOM COORDINATES
DON’T LIMIT GOD.
BE WILLING.
BE OBEDIENT.
FOLLOW THE REVELATION GOD HAS GIVEN YOU.
KNOW YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST.
DON’T COMPARE YOUR ASSIGNMENT.
DON’T SEEK VALIDATION FROM MEN.
STAND ON THE WORD.
PRAY FOR THE NATIONS.
PREACH THE GOSPEL.
LET THE WORD PREVAIL.
AND BELIEVE GOD FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE.
You may not see the whole assignment yet.
You may not understand the instruction.
You may not feel qualified.
You may not know how the pieces fit together.
But if God has spoken, you can trust Him to equip you for what He has called you to do.
The God who gives the assignment gives the grace.
The God who gives the Word gives the strength.
The God who calls you knows exactly what He is doing.
So—
When God says go, go.
When He says wait, wait.
When He says speak, speak.
When He says pray, pray.
When He says believe, believe.
Because with God—
nothing is impossible.
Kingdom Coordinates.
Kingdom Alignment.
Kingdom Purpose.
