Before anything else, there is energy.
Not scheme.
Not talent.
Not opportunity.
Energy.
How you walk into the building matters.
How you show up to training matters.
How you carry yourself when things aren’t going your way matters even more.
Your energy sets the temperature.
Keeping My Energy first means I don’t let circumstances decide how I show up. I decide Every day.
Energy isn’t random. It’s managed.
If my energy is low, unfocused, or negative, it doesn’t stay with me—it spreads. Teams feel it. Environments absorb it. Performance reflects it.
Champions understand this. That’s why they protect their energy.
They don’t waste it on noise.
They don’t leak it into frustration.
They don’t let outside voices hijack their presence.
Pressure doesn’t create bad energy. It exposes poor energy habits.
If I want consistency, I have to regulate my energy first—before I speak, before I coach, before I compete.
Because leadership starts with presence.
