The Garden Before the Harvest

There’s a quiet stage in every garden.

It’s the moment when the seeds are planted, the soil has been watered, and all you can do is wait.

You can’t see the growth yet.

But you trust that something is happening beneath the surface.

That’s exactly where I am right now.

Over the past months, I’ve been working on something very close to my heart, my book, Pot & Patio Wellness Garden. What began as a simple idea about growing fresh foods in pots has slowly grown into something bigger than I imagined.

This book is a collection of what I’ve been learning as a beginner gardener experimenting with growing my favorite greens, herbs, and vegetables in containers on my patio. It’s about trying new things, learning through mistakes, and discovering that even small spaces can grow beautiful things.

As I finish the layout and prepare for publication, I’m reminded of one of the quotes that inspired this journey:

“Progress happens underground first.”

Much of this process has been like that quiet work, thoughtful planning, and trusting that the pieces will come together.

Inside the book, you’ll find:

My hope is that it becomes more than a guide.

The seeds are planted.

The pages are nearly ready.

And soon, I’ll be able to share the harvest.
