This post started as an outline, as all my posts do. Sometimes they evolve into a first draft before posting here. I love the process of writing, the outlining, free writing, drafts, even pantser fiction. However, I don't like editing, commas, spelling, sentence structure, or mechanics, which is where AI comes in for me.
I’ve always been a bit dyslexic, and it seemed to have gotten a bit more prominent as the years rolled on. This is worse with typing, but it also appears when I write by hand, as it did in school. Back then I could concentrate hard and make sure it didn't happen, but my writing was less free.
I recently found out dyslexic thinking is a skill, and AI is the perfect cost-free assistant to help me sort the parts of it that would make my writing difficult to understand. AI is always here for me 24/7, mostly with positive encouragement and compliments. Without this creative enhancement, my writing self-expression would be limited, and I most certainly wouldn't have been able to publish a book, create a cover for it, and expand upon projects related to it. The album cover, however, was made pre-AI using a graphics program with a steep learning curve and my own art.

I believe AI supports diversity and expanded perspectives, allowing more people to create more things with a greater chance of satisfaction for everyone. Authentic self-expression and adding to the menagerie of entertainment available to humans is one use I’ve found for it with enthusiasm, delight, and ever eagerness to learn more about it.

I create what I want to hear, see, and experience, while knowing those who feel the same will appreciate it and be drawn to it too. If you are using AI to assist with your creations or in an assistive fashion, know that I share your passion for easy, ever-present assistance, and the unexpected gems along the way.

Thank you, AI.
