1 Lesson Learned From the Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz

I recently finished reading “The Magic of Thinking Big” by David J. Schwartz, and it’s safe to say that the insights from this classic self-help book are not only timeless but also immensely practical.

Here is one takeaway that I believe can positively impact anyone’s mindset and approach to life:

Set Bigger Goals and Achieve More

Schwartz emphasizes the importance of setting ambitious goals. The book makes a compelling case for thinking big and aiming high. By setting larger goals, we tend to push ourselves beyond our comfort zones, fostering personal and professional growth. This insight has encouraged me to reevaluate my own goals, pushing them a notch higher and inspiring a renewed sense of determination.

I can honestly say that when I’ve set bigger goals, I’ve achieved more however, for beginners, or people who struggle to remain consistent in anything, this is not the best advice.

I’d say, start small, but aim high in the long term.

For example:

Your goal is to build a million dollar business, think about the steps you need to take daily to achieve this. Start with baby steps, and work your way up.

I have big goals, and I’ve achieved most of them to be honest however, I know I can achieve more.

What works best for you? Big goals? Small goals? Or systems?
