Every time I scroll through YouTube, I find videos that say you can make $300 an hour using ChatGPT. Is this true?
I’ve never tried the methods they speak of in these videos, but I do know that most content mills and freelance writing gigs do not want writers using AI to generate content, unless they want AI-generated content for a specific reason.
These videos claim that people are making this money by writing for platforms such as TextBroker and iWriter
I’m going to burst your bubble here.
TextBroker and iWriter are essentially content mills. They pay their writers pennies to create articles for big brands.
I very much doubt that you can make $300 per hour writing for these companies, especially using ChatGPT or any other AI generator.
Here’s what I suggest:
If you want to make money as a writer for these platforms, don’t use ChatGPT to write the entire article. Use it as a writing assistant instead, for example:
👉Create an outline
👉Fill in the blanks
👉Or create the whole article, rewrite it, and fact check everything before you submit it.
Don’t copy and paste an AI-generated piece and send submit it as is, your article will get rejected, and you won’t get paid.
Another way to use ChatGPT to make money as a writer:
✅ Create an ideas generation service
✅ Create book summaries (but rewrite them) Also, create videos and audios using the book summaries
✅ Create Pinterest and Instagram captions
✅ Create quote lists and use them in articles, videos, and podcasts.
✅ Create e-book outlines
ChatGPT is an actual goldmine, no word of a lie however, you can’t just create articles and copy and paste them and expect to make money. You must use ChatGPT in a strategic way to make money online.
