14Issachar is a strong ass,
Couching down between the sheepfolds:
15And he saw a resting-place that it was good,
And the land that it was pleasant;
And he bowed his shoulder to bear,
And became a servant under taskwork.
First, each family on Earth comes with a specific trait, character and divine calling. Some are cut out to worship, to be an altar for God, living lives of fasting, praying, being supplied by others as in Exodus 38:21, Num 1:51
So we must identify first our primary way of functioning : are we gifted with discerning the times and seasons and how the Holy Spirit moves? Or are we gifted differently? Which means that because we re not anointed to discern the times and seasons, we need to team up with the people who can, so that we will move together as one in the same direction with one purpose. If we re gifted one way or another, we re not to boast in our giftings or anointings : that s pride 1 Corinthians 4:7
We also have secondary giftings, anointings: prophetic and apostolic, these will vary too: there can be specific anointings on a region or nation. France at the moment has got the mark of Joseph on it: a scribe anointing, and a seer anointing ( to receive prophetic dreams and visions). A season is a span of time which can vary between a month in the Hebraic calendar and a few years. It can be a season to war full time , a season to rest , a season to plough( work a ministry and/ or a business/ job) also called a tent making season , referring to the apostle Paul who sold tents as well as ministered or any other types of seasons.
Oh but what s the difference between an anointing and a mantle?
An anointing is given out through impartations and laying on of hands as instructed by God as when Jacob blessed the twelve tribes. A mantle is collected through service as between Elijah and Elisha or through a move of the Holy Spirit during worship and we have to grab them, lay hold of them and put them on.
Prayer: Thank you,Jesus, for gifting us with a new level of discernment, a new tools kit and sending your Holy Spirit to pour out an Issachar anointing today to make us sharper in knowing how you re moving and how we are to move and for what purpose.
